Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hi...
Holy Guacamole!!!
We are in CR CL tonight and I'm still a bit too wound up to sleep. What a difference in service and rooms between BC CL and CR CL...
We got in pretty early (before 10 am) with a crazy tired almost 4 y/o running amok due to absolutely no sleep last night. We pulled in by town car, bell services took our luggage, and as we were standing in line to check in, a lovely CM from CL (Shana?) greeted us with her iPad. We knew our room would not be ready. She very graciously ran and got one of our suitcases so we could freshen up and change shirts. We did all of our front desk stuff and she then brought us upstairs for "the tour", welcome drink, and some snacks. She had at this point handed us over to Tammy who chatted with us about what we were doing today. She asked about food allergies and about DGS upcoming birthday (he turns 4 this Friday).
We headed out to TRex with a little guy who literally slept through lunch. While there (maybe a little before 2 pm), we received our room ready text.
When we got to our room (3:15) there was a stuffed Mickey, 3 balloons, and a lovely autographed photo of the big cheese himself with birthday wishes!!!
I cannot tell you how delighted and welcomed I felt. I immediately went out to thank them and got choked up trying to explain to a CM why all this was sooooooo
fabulous!!!
Last year was so so different...
Our room is lovely. It is larger and more commodious than BC. It's much better laid out and is far roomier. I like that my nose is not 2 feet from the bathroom door while sleeping, and that there is a slider between the sink/tub area, and commode, and our balcony seems twice the size.
EVERYONE has been delightful, and the snacks at midday were much more plentiful than at BC, and far more than I expected. (I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.). They even had Krispy Kreme donuts!
Dinner (Contemporary flavors) was more than plentiful for dinner with a good variety. (And whoever talked about the chicken nuggets was spot on, they are delicious, unlike any fast food nuggets)
It's supposed to rain tomorrow, I don't care, it could be hailing rocks, we would be happy to stay put.
DD, DSiL, and DGS went down to the pool and hot tub. And now everyone is all tucked in for an early start tomorrow. (EMM at MK)
The 8-10 pm desserts were yummy, including some kind of tropical bar that was amazing.
I don't want to turn this into a trip report...
But again HUGE HUGE HUGE difference in service. DH was suitably impressed!
After this experience, I'm not sure I would ever stay CL anywhere else.

The nuggets are good, right?!! I’d be very content if they served them every night in CL!! Happy you’re having a great time! Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Glad you're having a great time! CR CL sounds amazing and is definitely on my list to try. Hope the rest of your trip is just as amazing as the beginning .

We are staying at the Poly CL TPV for our trip in December. This is our first stay at the Poly and our first time in CL so I am beyond excited! I am really looking forward to be able to purchase the additional FP especially since we will be there Christmas week.

Should I email the Club Level staff about a room request. I booked the room on a bounce back and stated that I really wanted the bunk beds - 2 kids and they do really much better if they have their own beds. The reservation doesn't state that I have a bunk bed room, so if I can't get a bunk bed room can I request a roll-away? When would I put the requests in now? Later? or when I get there and find out my room accomodations? I am going at the end of June.

Poly CL is amazing, you will love it! Had my first Poly CL stay this past Oct and I loved everything about it. The CL CMs are great and the lounge is nice with an awesome view of the castle/fireworks. Hope you have a great trip! Enjoy the rest of your planning .

You can call the reservation number and/or call/email DSS with room requests at any time. Rooms are assigned 3-5 days prior to arrival and while requests are never guaranteed, it's best to have them noted ahead of time. With that said, if you are assigned a room that doesn't meet your requests, you can always ask if a different room is available. It's not guaranteed your room can be changed, but Disney will do everything they can to accommodate you .

CR CL has KRISPY KREME donuts every afternoon for lite bites 11 am - 4 pm? There is a very good reason I don't live too close to any KK in New England. Those things are lethal bites of sugared airfat!!! My poor unhealthy diet!
Between those and the aforementioned chicken nuggets, I'm doomed! And I swear on my grandchildren's lives, nuggets have never before enticed or attracted me!
Sigh, guess I'm not losing any inches this vacation!
If it wasn't so yucky out I'd go do some laps in the pool.

Ok, we go to Disney as much as our schedule allows us to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish we could- it's just pretty darn far away!

Once you'e looking at $500 roundtrip in economy (multiplied by 5) and an entire day spent getting there, a whole lot of options suddenly become competitive with WDW. But we have to get our fix about every five years, and also it's one of the few destinations all of my young adult offspring can agree on.

So we're very excited for this trip! And I personally, plan on coming back with DH to do SW:GE as soon as the hotel is open. Does anyone know if it will have CL? From descriptions, I think the entire hotel will be CL or all-inclusive. We've heard a little about the rides but nothing about a hotel, though I know it's in the works.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think rollaway beds are available for a regular resort room. Even if they were, I’m not sure where you’d put it in those rooms, they are pretty tight as is.

We’re a family of four with two little ones, in April requested but weren’t assigned a bunk at first but the CL CM worked some magic to switch us to a bunk room. Obviously nothing is guaranteed, so your mileage may vary. Hope that helps.
