Disneytam and kerrycm we definitely should plan to meet. I've tried before but things get so busy, especially later in the day. Maybe breakfast in the lounge if everyone will be there on Sunday the 10th?

I love meeting fellow Disers. I have a remained friends with some I have met years ago! Our alone trips are very relaxed and my husband can be seen talking to Lorenzo everyday! We love just relaxing in the lounge. The cast there have become our second family, Pete, JJ, Jackie, Linda and others are so welcoming and wonderful to deal with. We are so looking forward to being there. Just ask one of them to point me out and come say hi!!

I most certainly will! I'm going to guess that I ask for Kerry? My husband and I love to kick back and relax on our vacations but we are really early risers so are in the lounge for breakfast most mornings by 7:30. This trip will have one niece and her new husband joining us for one night and then my sister and other niece will be joining us later in the week. I'm sure we will cross path's sometime during the week.

since we are arriving on the 9th in the evening (coming from Montana there is no way to get there earlier) we will definitely be in the lounge on sunday morning at 730. It will be myself and my husband with 2 boys DS 14 and DS friend 13 and possibly (but most likely not) our DD 17. The closer we get we can definitely plan more accurately.

I would love to but that is the only morning that we will not be having breakfast in the lounge! We have a 7:30 breakfast at Boma that morning but we will be back in the lounge around 5:00 pm to wait for our ride to Portofino Bay hotel at 5:30. We plan to see the new light show at HS on the 9th but will probably be back to the resort by 9:00. Maybe we can meet up that evening in the lounge or even for a drink at the Bellvue lounge later in the evening? We will be the one's crying in our drinks because it will be the last night for us! We are looking forward to going to Universal though since it has been a long time , way before the Harry Potter rides.

We have always been checked in, showred, and ready for Disney by around 7pm on arrival day. Looks like flights have changed so it may be a bit later...we too like to bring treats in. Last trip we brought amazing locally made jerky (high country...it is the best) and various huckleberry treats for our cast members. We brought them in to club level concierge desks...is this the best place? Should we take them to another location?

I, too am an early riser. Just ask Lorenzo, Anita or Linda in the morning who Kerry is. I am usually alone as my husband sleeps in. Looking forward to meeting you.

I did the math....it is a savings of $280 dollars however, I found out they don't have any of our room category left for that time so I'm pretending it never came in the mail... I just paid off the trip so it's done anyway in my mind.....

I would do the same thing...LOL. Congrats on being PIF .

For deluxes it appeared poly/cr/gf only 20/25%. WL and AKL 35%, I didn't look close at boardwalk area but maybe 25%. Have a date or resort pm me and I could probably check later.

This is awesome - can't wait to hear about both! Now you will probably hopefully experience the new lounge at WL? I still have my deluxe WL room booked - the AP deal unfortunately doesn't quite cover my April dates, so I'm still waiting.

Looks like the AP deal is about 5% better than the PIN code @GADisneyDad14 FYI

Ok I found the wine for AKL.

However I read about mimosas made with the jungle juice. So whats that? Champagne with juice or white wine with juice.

Room request ? I don't think it will matter. Some appear to have good views, close to lounge or close to elevator?? All would be good.

Anything you think unique about AKL vs others we should know? I have tried cr, poly, gf rpc and sl,, wl and bc.

If the dates work once hubby's 2017 on-call schedule are feasible for it...1/15-1/18 AKL CL (@trishadono and I may be there at the same time )

A week from tomorrow we'll be checking into GF RPC. So excited! This is a trip of firsts for us. First time at GF, first time CL, among many other firsts, including a week without the kids!!

Anyone know the latest on the bottled water situation in the RPC lounge? Stocked in the fridge? In the room? By request only? Regular size or minis?

Wondering if we should just order a case & if so from whom? All we'd be ordering is a case of water so I don't know if that changes things.

I can't help you with the latest water bottle situation in the lounge, but just wanted to say they sell cases of Dasani in the GF store (can't remember the name) for a very reasonable price, like $6.99 or something very un-Disney like. I've been doing that the last few trips and keep them cold in the fridge in the room. Hope you have a great trip! Come report back about your stay!
