Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Please add me to the list! I'm sure your right TigerLvsPooh I don't think there will be any availability by the time AP rates come out. Even now I had to play around with dates and stay TP view at the Poly instead of LV. We will be at the Poly TP CL from 2-23 thru 2-26-16 and then on to the BWI CL from 2-26-16 till 3-3-16. Thanks for all the help.

There are lots of benefits to staying CL. I've got a list on page 1 plus you can read further into this thread to hear about other DISers experiences on CL. Which resort will you be staying at? Some of them are offering texting service and help with additional fastpasses, so that's a nice bonus too. :D
Yacht club. I read the first page and will take that into account just wanted to know if there was anything else I needed to know.

I'm so excited!! We arrive at at the Poly CL Wenesday! We're currently in Florida, staying at The Breakers. I'm so looking forward to our stay, but I admit we've been incredibly spoiled by our stay here. Housekeeping? Incredible. Nightly turndown? Better than I'd expected. Concierge and restaurant service? Impeccable. Granted, we're paying far more here than at Disney, but I'm worried after being so very well cared for here, Disney may be a bit disappointing. Can anyone reassure me? Please??

Home late last night and trying to get caught up today. Here are a few observations:

No special greeter at the Poly for Club Level, simply a young man with an iPad that told me that he noticed that we were staying Club Level and that we should just go into the lobby and check in. Well, alrighty. Checked in and room was not ready, told that we could go hang out at the pool or head to a park. Well, what about going on over to Hawaii and checking out the lounge? Oh you can do that, it's straight through those doors and past the pool. We entered Hawaii behind some other guests so we didn't realize that our bands were not opening the doors until one of my girls came from upstairs to tell me that the room wouldn't open. (We had received our room ready text as we entered the building). I had a super sweet young CM (Kelsey maybe?) that went up with us to check the door and rekey our bands. 'Ohana feast cannot be ordered before 4:30 and the earliest it will be delivered is 5:15 for anyone considering it. Food seemed a lot fresher than when you get it in the restaurant but they skimp a bit on the noodles, IMO. Lounge offerings were good while we were there, I sampled the wings, crab rangoon and hummus on Friday and we had a few desserts on Saturday, along with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The POG juice that they serve in the lounge is quite tasty too. The same CM (Kelsey?) even went out of her way to pack up our uneaten bread pudding and sauce for me to take home, going to the CM lounge to get takeout containers.

We were garden view and I did not notice any noise from either the construction or the lounge (we were the second room down from the lounge on the second floor). I had requested ground floor or third floor but was pleased with our "room ready on arrival" request being met and it was too rainy and muggy to have utilized the balcony.

Took a bus to AK on Saturday, no wait as it was at the stop when we walked out. Monorail was hit and miss to EPCOT but the resort launch to and from MK was awesome.

In all it was a good quick trip and I was happy with CL, but glad that I was not a first timer there as non CL CMs were not very helpful.

Yacht club. I read the first page and will take that into account just wanted to know if there was anything else I needed to know.

You'll enjoy the Yacht Club, depending on your dates they are refurbishing the entire club level, so it could all be brand new. :)

Go in with extremely low expectations, that's always my motto! LOL :D

you are right down the street from me at the Breakers!!!

We are a contractor on Palm Beach!

Does CL help with FastPass+ Reservations?
I'm not sure whether or not they help with the initial booking, but they do help with any changes you may need to make! We arrive at GF next week, and I booked my FPs 60 days out, but DH found out that he has to fly down a day later than the kids and I so IPO helped me rearrange my FPs a couple of days ago!! Of course, I couldn't get SDMT that late (which is why you would want to book them yourself at 60 days out), but I still got all three mountains for me and my girls next Wednesday! And CL concierge has always helped us make small changes once we get there too...although it is difficult to make changes to times on rides like Rockin Rollercoaster once you get there, but it can and has been done:)

Just wanted to drop in and say we are one week away from our GF-CL Sugarloaf stay. I'm excited! I'm trying not to have too high of expectations but I sure hope it is a nice stay. Any recs for room/view requests? I haven't made any so far. I'm excited to try out the texting service for FP reservations too. Do they text you back availability once you ask or do you have to request specific rides, etc.?

I prefer marina over courtyard view. Also do you care if full balcony or dormer balcony(smaller but enclosed and private)? Lots of info on the GF thread if needed :)

Hey friends, I booked 3 nights with a discount at BWI for dd and I. We have a disney institute class on the 12th and you get the convention rate up to 3 days there if needed. We booked at 3 nights. DD and i have 11/11-14. She leaves on the 13th and my DH will arrive late that night. We will have to check out on the 14th and move for one night. I just grabbed at BC Cl std for that night.

Is leaving luggage with bell services in the morning and collecting mid day and moving ourselves practical? I may want to head over and get CL breakfast too. Once we check in at BC to use lounge we can't get into our bwi room, correct?

I am going to keep looking for a BWI room for ease but at least for F&W I am where DH requested. Both resorts are a first for me!

Just saw pics of new updated rooms and they look great!

Hi there!
Personally, I would leave my luggage with bell services and move myself later in the day as the two resorts are so close. Last month we let the Poly move our luggage over to the GF, we left the resort early in the a.m. and we didn't get our stuff until almost 4:00p - never again! As for checking in and out... you are correct that once you check into the BC, you lose your access at BWI.

Sorry, I'm not much help on your question but I had to turn around and ask you one! Without any experience in doing that, I might collect your luggage yourself just so you know you'll have access to it when you need it. If you have them transfer, it's gone until they decide to bring it (and occasionally things do happen...)

My question to you - how on earth did you get reservations for that weekend at Epcot resorts??? :worship:Do they hold rooms for the convention rate and Disney Institute you mentioned? I was looking recently for 11/13-11/15, and initially there were no rooms anywhere on disney property! I called CRO and had a disney TA look as well. My TA said he hadn't seen that happen, where you couldn't get any room at any price anywhere. Since then some have intermittently opened up, I got the CR initially and then found a Poly studio so we're just a monorail ride from Epcot. My top choice would be any Epcot resort, and nothing at all has ever popped up when I check, Given that it's the last weekend of F&W I'm not surprised it's booked, but then I read your post. I'm jealous, and curious how you did it? I am happy with the Poly, but I've never stayed at an Epcot resort and thought this would be a good time to try it. Spontaneous trips during F&W weekends make being picky about resorts hard. I remember when this was the slow time.

Ya, it can take a while so I would rather have access to my "things". Thanks for quick response!

We just booked the classes last week. At over $1000 per person for class they hold some rooms. We took the max amount allowed at 50% off. I have been checking 4 times a day for a boardwalk area resort too! I just got the BC cl at noon today. It looks like there were more Bc Cl rooms after i booked. Keep checking as people do cancel last minute.

I do check quite frequently, the page is always up on my laptop just waiting for me to hit refresh :goodvibes. Maybe some of the rooms they held will open up if people don't book them :thumbsup2 I wish it didn't take so long for the disney site to re-log me in every time! Who knows, maybe it will come up. But the Poly is second best, with the direct Epcot monorail access. We've never stayed in a studio there, so I'm kind of excited to try something a little bit new.

Does CL help with FastPass+ Reservations?

No they don't. They only offer assistance with the 4th FP and on via the text messaging service. And only a few of the resorts are even doing that. GF, CR, BC, not sure of others. Plus this is in a test phase so it could be discontinued at anytime.

First you'll text them your name and room # to initiate the conversation. Next you'll request the ride you want and tell them who is riding. They'll respond back with confirmation or they'll tell you that ride is no longer available. You can then request a different ride or ask them what they see is open. It's pretty easy to do and we really enjoyed the service.

I usually take my own bags via taxi and check them with bell services at the second resort. I don't like using luggage transfer because often my room is ready early and then I don't have my bags with me.
