Should I do online check in for Poly Club Level?
Some do some don't. I do because I like to have my cc on file. Sometimes I get the ready text that way.

I also do it because in my head if 2 families had the same room request and arrival date how do they decide? I hope by sending ipo my preference AND doing online check in I am confirming my intentions of actually coming .

I usually get my request so I have done my online check in for my upcoming poly cl stay.

Otherwise just send ipo your needs, that way the room assigner will try to get you what you want.

I put my request in with IPO and also did online check in personally. This is our first CL stay though so I've no idea what kind of difference if any it will make one way or the other.

Hey guys! We just added a day to our Poly CL stay! :stitch:Any extension to a Disney trip is pure excitement lol My kids have been listening to Disney ride recordings all morning! lol

Poly CL Nov. 26-Dec. 2 :stitch::mickeyjum

Congrats on another Disney day....it's always exciting adding on :yay:.

I managed to get standard view club level at Yacht Club under the AP discount for the length of our stay. That means we won't have to switch rooms halfway through down to garden view. I'm excited! I haven't filled out the thinggy they sent yet, I plan to send it back to them tomorrow. Is there any other contact I need to make with them? I have all my reservations and can't do fastpasses for a few more weeks.

Should I do online check in for Poly Club Level?
We did online checkin for our Poly CL stay June 9-16. We requested third floor connecting rooms when we made our reservation and again with IPO and didn't get either one of our requests when we arrived. They were able to move us the next day to a third floor connecting room so it did work out in the end. :). In previous CL stays at WL and BC we did online checkin and received our room requests. Have a great trip! :)

We recently switched our November reservation from AKL to BWI CL. When we have previously stayed CL before (Poly), we received an email welcome with forms to fill out. Its been about a week- and we haven't received one yet. Is this normal for BWI? Should I contact anyone? Im nervous since we switched that maybe their was a glitch.

Just got back from BWI CL. This trip we did not receive the welcome form and called for confirmation. Previous trips got the form after a week. Doesn't hurt to call.

Unfortunately Disney can be pretty inconsistent in these e-mails. Most of the times I get them but occasionally have not. I bet a reservation switch is ripe for not getting an e-mail. Makes no sense but people report it happening. No worries though, just e-mail the IPO directly if you need anything.

We are staying BC CL for the first time in July. We are a family of five so we had to book a standard view club level room. There are no deluxe rooms available for our dates. I am trying to figure out what to request for our room location. Do all of the standard view club level rooms have full balconies? The pictures I have seen do. If not, I want to put this as my first request.

All of the SV CL rooms at BC do not have a full balcony. We stayed in one last May. Nice large oversized room, but only had a small standing room only balcony. So, there are a few without full balconies.

Thank you for your help. I will make sure to request a full balcony. We would have booked a garden or water view room if they had day beds. I wonder if there are any of those rooms that have a view of stormalong bay in the distance. We wouldn't mind if it had a view of the roof top too. Are you aware of any?

As the pp said, for some unknown reason, it's hit or miss who gets a welcome email and who doesn't. It seems there are more people who don't get it when they switch to CL or change CLs prior to their trip. If there are things you want IPO to do (ADRs, etc), you can contract them anytime :).

I agree, seems to be very inconsistent :sad2:.

We are there in July too and have BC CL water view as we really want a day bed and a full balcony and were told this is the best option!!

Anyone stay CL at CR lately?

We're staying Atrium CL at the CR next week and received the usual welcome email. It stated that evening turn-down with chocolates and cordials in the lounge were included. Did they bring those things back, or is that message out of date?

Thanks.

PS - also posted on the CR thread

Ok..... I'll answer my own question. We just returned from a two night CL stay at CR, and yes they do turn-down with chocolates and do have cordials in the lounge in the evening. Unlike most of the other CL lounges, the wine, beer and cordials were self-serve. We stayed CL at the CR about a year ago, and the experience this time was excellent and pretty much identical to last year, including being greeted curbside when we arrived (we drove), and escorted up to the lounge to check in.

To Mshap001...... the only thing in the lounge that was wrapped, was fruit. However, during the afternoon, they had the ingredients (M&Ms, yogurt pretzels, granola, etc.) to make your own trail mix, and had bags and twist-ties to put it in. That would work to take to the parks, or leave in your room for late night snacking.

Thanks for the info! We are going in August and I am so excited! Do you mind sharing what the other offerings were? Breakfast and evening appetizers? Thanks!!

Request the full balcony if that is your highest priority. For a family of 5, or with older children, the daybed may be higher on the need list.

Some rooms have full balcony and a daybed. Some have a daybed and a small balcony. Some rooms have full balconies, but no daybed. If you get one of those rooms, the rollaway they provide may completely block access to the balcony door. This happened to us.

The daybed is higher on the priority list for us now.

^^ I totally agree with this advice. We have stayed at the BC CL twice in rooms with a full balcony but no daybed. We weren't a party of 5, so it didn't matter to us, but for 5 I think the daybed would be the top priority. The rooms aren't large enough to comfortably add a rollaway.

Glad you had another great CR CL stay! :wizard:

I agree :thumbsup2.

We weren't in the lounge that much for evening appetizers, but here is what I do remember....... the first night (Monday) they had Asian stuffed dumplings (which were pretty good), a tomato based soup (didn't try it or catch exactly what it was), assorted cheeses, flatbread crisps (plain and herbed), individually served small shrimp with capers, olives and veggies, along with peanut butter and jelly to make small "sliders" out of dinner rolls. The second evening they had chicken nuggets, a warm stuffed mushroom appetizer, small bites of seared tuna along with the crisps, cheeses, olives and veggies, and the PB&J. I didn't check out the soup the second evening, and we had a late lunch that day, so really didn't have much. I'm sure they probably had more each evening, but I wasn't paying close attention.

Breakfast offerings were pastries (different each morning), small muffins, bagels, croissants, bread for toasting, cut fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, some meats (didn't pay close attention here), cereal, oatmeal with toppings and orange juice. They did have apple juice boxes and chocolate milk in the cooler.

Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures - sorry.

I hope you have a great stay, just like we did (but ours was way too short!!! -- guess I'll have to book another stay!).
