With a look at the crowds it doesn't seem like they are really holding park capacity down. It really is time for them to allow park hopping at any time now.....

Are you staying Atrium or Tower Club? My wife and I are dedicated Tower Club visitors and are coming down on Monday. I was curious about the status on the 14th. You mentioned it was a mess, is it not open yet?

The Tower Club lounge is open, some rooms are open but some aren’t. It’s a mad dash to finish them with a lot of workers around. Day by day kind of situation, from what I understand, but trending in the right direction. Stay flexible with expectations, just in case. Hope that helps.

Anyone else as nutty as I am?

I love value resorts for the price.
I love moderate resorts for the food courts.
I love deluxe resorts for the balconies.
I love CL for breakfast croissants with orange marmalade butter.
I love solo trips . . . just because . . .

BUT I've decided I can't in all good conscience book CL for my upcoming solo trip. (Maybe I shouldn't watch the nightly news and see how the money could be better used.)

So why is the CL thread the first one I read when I come to disboards?!!??? Anyone else nutty like me and continue to faithfully read CL even though they aren't planning to book?

We've never stayed CL, but I'm dreaming and trying to learn all about it!

1st time since park hopping started back.....

Whew, we finally made it to Steakhouse 71. I didn't think it was going to happen. First I threw my back out putting up Halloween decorations this morning. Then what should have been a 1 hour drive took us 2...stupid turnpike. Service has been excellent, good drinks and crab cakes are very crabby, which I consider a good thing.

Notable, these pics make the food look pretty crappy, but that was not my impression in real life. Not pictured is a hot chicken/pasta dish. This is all pretty consistent with pre Covid for CR, IMO. It’s never been a CL with huge volumes of offerings or a meal substitute.
