Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

What floors are they located? General location? Balcony? Roman shades or regular shades? Worth it? Anything else you can think of…. Thanks :)

They are in two locations: 1) four are in the "stack" close to the lobby (center red circle below) - rooms 1647, 2647, 3647, 4647; 2) three are located on the far Epcot side of the resort (right red circle below) - rooms 1501, 2501, 3501.

In my humble opinion, you definitely want to request to be "close to the lobby" with this room type. Any of the x647 rooms are just steps away from the elevator bank that goes straight up to the 5th floor lounge. Lounge access is definitely better from these rooms, as is Stormalong Bay, main lobby, buses, etc. The x501 set of rooms is great for quick Epcot access, but is a hike to the lounge and center of the resort.

I'm not totally sure on exact balcony configurations - I think they may vary depending on floor like much of BC, but will let others chime in. We stayed in 1647 (first floor) and it had a small walk out patio.

Attaching some pics below.

And a few more below. It's an interesting room setup. One thing that some may not like is the bathroom configuration. The bathroom is off the 'living room' area, not the bedroom, and there's not a door to the vanity area.

Hope that helps!

That was a really nice job for explaining the rooms for jemtx. This is what these boards are about helping others through our knowledge and experiences.

I agree. Everyone here is so great about helping each other. A special shout-out to GADisneyDad14 who has such a wealth of WDW knowledge and experience that he always shares so readily.

Yes, your reply was so helpful. The map and pictures were great. The room does look really nice, but I see what you mean about the layout—particularly the bathroom in the living room portion as you mentioned. The rooms that are close to the elevators look like a great location, but if we’re to get that other far-away stack of rooms, I don’t think I’d be happy with the location. Part of the reason we choose CL is the location of the rooms. This is a tough decision. The suite is about $200 more than a regular CL room, so I’m not too sure now. Thank you so much for all the info. 😃

BTW, do both couches open up as sleepers?

Yeah, I personally wouldn't be all that happy if I had one of the "far" 1BRs, although YMMV I guess!

The couch in the 'living room' opens to a pull out bed, the couch in the bedroom is a flipover daybed (same type as in the regular rooms). I have seen reports over time that at least one 1BR has these reversed, so YMMV there too!

Agree about the location. Thanks for the info about the beds.

Recently back from a CR Tower Club/14th Floor stay so just wanted to give a little trip report. CR CL has been well covered recently and I think maybe I'm among the few who enjoy it, so I'll give it some love. And I don’t think we’ve seen many Tower Club photos, so maybe this will be helpful.

No doubt, and perhaps oddly, breakfast is a weak point. I had hoped some more variety would be added once they got things stabilized, but doesn't seem to be the case. Definitely room for improvement, in my opinion.

But on the other hand food has never really been the star of the CR CL show, for us at least - it's great CMs, location, and nice rooms... so from that perspective it didn't disappoint! And Tower Club/14th floor is always a nice splurge with a generally more relaxing CL experience than what you'll encounter in Atrium Club given the smaller room/guest count.

Like the rest of the resort, Tower Club rooms received a significant renovation. Overall I would say the rooms are a big upgrade from before, as they were due to be refreshed. But the overall design style may not be everyone's cup of tea though. That said, these rooms are very comfy and livable, in my opinion.

This is a 1BR, Bay Lake View. Main entryway...

The couch pulls out into a bed. This room type sleeps 6. Tower Club suites generally have quite large living areas (frankly way oversized).
625565

625566

That low back chair may look cool, but has zero practical use! The other seating surfaces are really nice though.
625567

A small kitchenette. Seems really plain/lacking design inspiration over in this area. Those white walls may not hold up so well over the long haul.
625570

Nespresso machine.
625571

A $2,000+ Wolf microwave...
625572

And a cheap dorm room fridge. :confused3 If I remember correctly these rooms used to have a full-size fridge, so the smaller version may be a disappointment for some.
625574

Still bigger than a standard room though.
625575

Here's the bedroom, which has 2Qs. I appreciate the carpet in the bedroom and mix of other floor types in the rest of the suite.
625584

From what I'm told each room has a different theme. This one is themed to Edna Mode. Someone on the thread previously posted pics of one of the Tower Club standard rooms which had the same/similar Mode theme.

I assume the mattresses are standard Disney issue, but they felt really comfortable.

A highlight of Tower Club/14th Floor rooms are the oversized balconies. They really make for excellent spaces and the updated furniture is really nice.

625597

625598

These two sections of the balcony are off the living room/dining room.
625599

This one is off the bedroom.

No doubt a room on the other side (TPV side) gives you all the buzz/action of the Seven Seas Lagoon... but a Bay Lake view sure is nice - especially since you can always get the TP view from the lounge.

Not complaining one bit about the sunrises.
625601

And the Electrical Water Pageant view doesn't get much better. I found the app had the accurate show time - which is currently right around 10:05pm.

The CM/team/department who made the 50th tag for the Electrical Water Pageant should get a raise. It's so simple but has such a nice message and a beautiful design.

I can’t decide if I like it or not?

For the price the space is good, awesome balcony space, refreshed room good.

Kitchen area? Yikes!

I don’t think my guys would like it. I am good with anything not my house for a break since I work from home now 😂

I did enjoy all your pix! Thx gadisneydad14

I’ve stayed at several CL, but never understood how y’all know the CMs by name and look for them. However, after AKL this time, I get it! We spent a lot of the time in the lounge with a baby, so really got to know the cast members. They knew what we wanted and it was truly a magical experience! They were amazing and made our crazy trip perfect. I can’t imagine how hard it would have been if we weren’t staying CL!
I arrived in time for breakfast Sunday, then spent hours in the lounge waiting for my room with my 4 week old grandson.

Do they still arrange your dining reservations? It's been a long time since our last club level stay. The last trip in '09 was just prior to sending the eldest child off to college. Our youngest is out soon, so my husband and I are returning in June for our 26th anniversary. Any big changes to staying club level?

I was surprised by the to go boxes. When my kids didn’t get up in time for breakfast, they brought me boxes to pack them food. Also, they packed us some snacks and drinks for our drive home.
AKL was a last minute switch from BWI, and I’m so glad we did it.

Plated apps were really good.
Butter chicken on Sunday and tomato soup. Then This chicken and seafood soup on Monday.

I wish we were there longer, but we’ll definitely return to AKL now!
