Here on the DISboards we have many veteran members with extensive experience staying in the various club levels on property and we are happy to contribute information, personal experiences, and opinions to help others who might be new to club level and the amenities it offers. Over the years this thread has had an immense amount of support from the DISboard community. Thank you so much to everyone who shares their thoughts, opinions, reviews and photos.

Today is the day for the mad packing scramble. We will be leaving the house at 3:15 am tomorrow morning, so we're just about 24 hours from arrival at MCO. Thank you all for the fantastic information from the CL thread contributors. I'm hoping I come back with lots of pictures and information to share. If I have a chance, I'll post pics in the thread here as we go.

Please keep fingers crossed for great travel weather tomorrow!

Everything is moved! I am in need of pictures to add for the Beach Club CL rooms post-refurb please. Also I would love some photos of the Tower Club at the CR (14th floor) rooms and lounge... and the new AKL CL lounge chef prepping appetizers. Thank you!

Erika...thanks for the new thread!! As for pics...I didn't take any of the 14th floor lounge but I do have a few of the 2 BR suite on that level if you'd like. Kook also posted a link to them in the CR thread.

Hi y'all! I'm a long-time lurker on this particular thread who finally got around to creating an account recently. My husband and I are booked for the Contemporary's Tower Club October 25-31 for the Food & Wine Festival.

We recently stayed at Wilderness Lodge's Old Faithful Club back in January in the Honeymoon Room (which was spectacular, might I add — if anyone has questions about this particular room please feel free to ask, since when I was doing research on it before our last trip I couldn't find much at all). We loved WL but both of us were dying to stay at the CR, so we booked a bounce-back without even thinking twice about it. I stayed there once as a 3-year-old with my parents back in '87, and my husband has wanted to stay there since he was a kid. Needless to say, we are SO excited!!! CR is my favorite hotel in the world (both the "WDWorld" and the actual world, haha).

Has anyone stayed Tower Club since the recent renovations up there? I know the whole 14th floor was redone a year or so ago and the pictures I've seen look beautiful. I'm curious what your experiences were. I realize the food offerings are the same as the Atrium Club down on the 12th, so I'm more curious about the overall "feel." Was it ever crowded? Noisy? How were the CMs? Can you see down into the main atrium area of the hotel from the 14th floor at all via windows? Thanks!

Last October, DH & I received a wonderful upgrde to a 2 BR suite on the 14th floor which was absolutely amazing!! While the lounge seemed small to us, it never was crowded while we were there and the view of the fireworks from the balcony was impressive.

Couldn't see the Atrium CL from there (or at least I never noticed) and while I had been told that Tower guests were allowed to use both CL lounges, we were told that was no longer allowed and our magic bands only worked for the 14th floor. CM's were nice and the offerings were good but we found ourselves having to ask for things as they didn't seem to replenish all that much. We really enjoyed our stay and found that floor to be very quiet compared to some of our other CL stays at other resorts. In a couple of months we'll be staying at the CR again but this time in a TPV Atrium CL room so I'll be able to compare the two lounges better. Loved it there and can't wait to go back. HTH.
