Disney's Christmas Decorations

Yes I know I'm crazy, but I'm trying to think ahead to next year's trip.

According to touringplans, the last week of January 2007 is good. But, I would like to know how long does WDW have their Christmas decorations up. If they are down by then, I'd rather wait until another slow time to go. This year's vacation time is used up, so I can't go this December. I've never been during the Christmas season, and I would love to see the decorations for the first time. So please let me know. Thanx!

I believe that the park decorations are usually down by January 7 or 8. They won't still be up at the end of January.

Sorry, but Christmas decorations are all down after the marathon (Jan. 7, 2007). We were there during this time last year and were amazed how they got everthing down so quickly between closing one day and opening the next. Good luck getting down there for these sometime--they're truly spectacular, but I would definitely go a different time if this is the only reason you were thinking end of Jan.
