First time staying at Boardwalk over Memorial weekend. Was amazed at how large this resort actually is. I have been around and through the hotel lobby before but didn't really know how expansive it was. Understand rooms were recently renovated and room was very nice and comfortable. We were most impressed with the shower head pressure! Could have pressure washed a Buick under that thing!
Couple of drawbacks we noticed though. Firstly we were only able to find one refillable mug station and that was actually on the Boardwalk at the Deli. We were really close to a quiet pool and never visited the main pool so I am sure there was a station there, but we searched all over and could not find another station. It has been a while since we stayed on property so I really cannot recall how refillable mug stations were laid out. But in this case it seems they could have one at each pool (main pool and 2 quiet pools) at a minimum. This would put one in pretty easy walking distance. Also one at the little store just off the lobby would be nice. Secondly there seems to only be one way to access the actual Boardwalk and that was back through the lobby. We may have missed another entry way because we didn't visit the opposite side of the resort (main pool side), a walkway from our end near our quiet pool to the Boardwalk would have been really nice.
Overall we had a great time. You cannot go wrong staying at any Disney resort in our opinion, but for the money spent on this one we will probably explore another option next time.
