We are waayy too sue happy. so it doesn't surprise me some one wants to sue because little jimmy or jane didn't split an atom by the time they were 4.

Ain't that the truth! When I was in college, there was a sue happy girl. She would purposely look for wet floors with no wet floor signs and stuff like that..both she and her mom!!! She got several thousand dollars from stuff like that. Pretty sick!

How does anyone know anyway? Did the people threatening the lawsuit do a "study" with control groups? You would have to have kids who only watched Little Einsteins with NO other TV or reading or anything and another group who did no Einsteins and no TV or reading. Who's going to join a study like that? There is no way anyone can prove these DVDs are educational or not educational.

It just cracks me up that people are gullible enough to BELIEVE Baby Einstein's claims in the first place. What happened to "don't believe everything you hear" Good, old-fashioned, effective PARENTING will make your kid smart, happy, well-adjusted, healthy, etc.......

However, that being said, the Baby Einstein videos saved my life when DS was born. When I was on summer break and he was 7 months old and it was him and me ALLLLLL day......that video provided me with a much needed 20 minute respite.......
