I cannot seem to find the suggested room requests for Kidani savannah view, and I apologize because I know I have already asked this...

Suggestions to request for a good view of the savannah, not super far from the pool? We will be in a 1bdrm savannah view June 21-26 this summer!

Thanks!

After being on hold for 45 minutes, I was able to add the special offer to our package. i had to upgrade to a poolview but I still saved $500 bucks! I will take it :thumbsup2. Standard rooms had zero availability for our dates:sad2:. Now back to planning.. :surfweb:

Kim is right, Kidani is huge, if you want close to the pool, request close to the pool. I would also request Sunset Savanna for Kidani, that's the best one there. Enjoy!

I appreciate your helpful reply. I will do that!

Doing a split stay...We will be there April 11-April 14, then off to Dolphin till the 18th. Now Questions...
1) If we only have the standard view....are any standard views configured with a queen and 1 set bunk beds? I know I can put in for request and see what happens but just wanted to see if they even offer a queen with bunk beds in a standard view.
2) Seeing as The Dolphin is not a disney owned property has anyone ever tried to use the bell service to send over luggage? I am sure it may not be feasible, just checking.

....we've stayed at the Dolphin twice. Be careful to request a room with a sliding door. There is a long-standing debate on whether the rooms have a musty smell to them. Rooms with a slider definitely do not.....

How big is the safe? My husband will be working during our first half of our vacation before we go to AKL and WDW, so we'll have a lap top as well as four iPads and our wallets. Will all this fit in the safe?

IF you can get a laptop in there I doubt anything else will fit, although
I am in a DVC unit not a regular room. The safes are tall but not deep. Maybe two ipads and two wallets, unless you can figure out how to make the wallets stand on top of each other. Maybe take a big zip loc bag and stack the wallets on top of each other in that in the safe?

Thank you, that is very helpful! How do people deal with having things to lock up? A luggage lock perhaps?

First time visiting AKL with DH only for our anniversary celebration.
Feel very guilty about not taking kids this year and I have questions.
AKL is totally for me and I want to spend time there with a savannah view room. My DH wants me to get the most out of the trip because he calls it my 'mini trip' to Africa since he knows I probably will never really be able to go.

Any advice? Can you just gets drinks at Sanaa and enjoy animals from the balcony. We were told to do this prior to our dinner reservations but I was wondering if you can just do drinks there without dinner.

Sorry if I'm naive here but we've never been anywhere but POR

Do not feel guilty about not taking the kids, WDW is for adults too!

Have you checked out the safaris AKL does.

Night Vision Safari is for all guests https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/animal-kingdom/night-safari/

And Wanyama Safari is for Club Level Guests only.

We have both scheduled for our May Trip, can't wait!

Would anyone kindly tell me where the 1BR deluxe suites are located? On the 1st page of this FAQ it says: (taken from allears.net)

The suites are located at the end of the animal trails. From the outside of the Lodge, they are the ones located within the rounded parts of the building, with the curved balconies, topped with thatch

Ok, where are the animal trails? Could someone point it out on this map ...or what would be the range of room numbers for 1br deluxe suites?
