Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR SPORTS Resort

Do they have hair dryers at sports?

Thank You.
Can someone tell me how long it takes to get to the Magic Kingdom from the All Star Sports?

Thank U. After reading this topic I am very happy to have chosen the All stars Sports. Very anxious waiting for the trip.

We are leaving Wednesday for our second stay at All Star Sports! Last time we went the food court was under construction and I had to use a wheelchair to get around because I had just had surgery. Excited for a little more mobility this time around. :)

My wife just stayed here. She liked it just as much as she did when we stayed here in 2007.

With a preferred room you'll be placed in the Surf's Up section which is either building 1 or 6. Both of those are close to the main Surfboard Bay pool and to Stadium Hall with the End Zone food court. So it's kind of a toss up if you need to request a building or not. I guess if you did I'd choose building 6 as it's slightly closer to the food court end of Stadium Hall. But I don't think you can go wrong with either building in terms of proximity -- that's why they are preferred.

one year we paid for a preferred room at POP...it was so far out in left field...we went to the desk to ask whats up...they said as long as a building was within so many feet from the corner of the main bld...that was preferred..so this bld that they were going to put us in..was to the left of the food court there and then it was on the other side of the bld on the third floor facing the parking lot..I think now they have pool preferred rooms there...we did get a changed room ..but was wondering if they did this for Sports too...thanks for your reply

You are so right about POP. A couple of years ago we stayed and paid for a preferred. We were in the 70's building on the 4th floor facing a parking lot, not my idea of preferred. They do have pool preferred rooms now though.

we are now down to 79 days and we are in a blizzard warning right now...up to two feet of snow coming..so need to keep reading this and dining food porn...anyone else want to come over to restaurant board and make sure you tell us your favorite meals while there at DIsney

I am getting closer to my solo trip as well Here in Buffalo we are having subzero temps right now. I actually got lucky today and snagged a dinner ADR for BOG.

Hey. I'll be there again in exactly 10 days. Can't wait to get out of the cold (it's -17 F here this morning, before the Wind chill). It will be our 4th time with the kids, and I’m not sure who's more excited, me, or the kids! lol

I've read somewhere in this thread that A.S.S only had Jelatos now, instead of the sundae that they use to have (that's our favorite desert on the QSP). Can any confirm that you can't, indeed, get the regular sundae, to replace the desert?

If no one knows, I guess I’ll find out soon enough :)

Thanks
