I have all but done my holiday plan but still have 2 days left to fill. I noticed that my Disney 14 Day Ultimate Ticket includes entry to DisneyQuest but dont know much about it. Is it worth going to and if so, when, and how long should I plan to spend there?

So are those attractions free once inside or is it pay to see/ride like a video arcade? Also what are the crouds like and is there much queuing for attractions?

All the rides/attractions are free when you get inside. The lines aren't really that bad, the best time to go is during the middle of the week, and as early as you can, as more people come after they get off work or out of school.

What time does it open and what time does it close? I can't find that information anywhere....or am I looking in the wrong places? :confused3

We tried this for the first time in Nov 04 and were not impressed at all. We all usually enjoy these types of places. This was included in our passes so we decided to try it. We probably will not go back. Also, all attractions are NOT free once you get inside. There are quite a few things that you will need to pay for. I know most people love this place but we just didn't find it appealing.

What about designing your own roller coaster? Does it cost extra to do that? That is the only thing in which our sons seemed interested and if it costs extra we'll probably skip Disney Quest....we don't really have time for it anyway, but we'll make time for that one activity if it doesn't cost extra.

My son (12 yrs.) and husband love Disney Quest. If you love arcade games, X-Box/Playstation games, etc. you will love Disney Quest. They have some awesome virtual reality games/rides that you can do as a family too. Almost all of the games are free. There is one small area on one floor that you can buy a card to play games, then trade tickets for prizes. We almost always stay at least for 3-4 hours, but could stay there all day. When we went last summer, it opened at 11:00 am and stayed open until 11:00 pm or 12:00 midnight each night. Be sure to get there when it opens because the lines for the best rides get really long very quickly! The virtual Space Mountain roller coaster ride does NOT cost extra.

It does not cost extra to design and ride the roller coaster. They video tape you while riding and you can choose to purchase that. I thought this was definitely one of the best things there - along with the Pirates of the Caribbean! I would definitely fit in those two things if you are short on time.

Thanks for the info...I'm not sure if we could do this trip without this board...we'd sure be in the dark without it. :flower:
