How much time should I allow for DisneyQuest? Is it an all day kind of place or more like 3-4 hours?

Disney Quest is a large video arcade. How much time you wish to spend there really depends on the person.

I could easily spend 5 - 6 hours there but then I am a huge video game junkie.
However on average I typically spend about 3 hours each time I go.

Teenagers will want to spend more time than Adults and very young children.
We typically go after dinner. Arriving around 8pm and we stay until 11pm or so, by then we are rather tired from our long day, so we go back to the resort to sleep.

thanks for the info - this helps a lot! I have an 11 year old son who loves PlayStation & GameBoy so I guess I'd better allow a good bit of time for him.

I don't know the size of your party, but Pleasure Island is right next door to DQ. So if you have some older people who don't want to hang out at DQ, and some who don't mind and you are willing to split up, you can have the "Adults" go to Pleasure Island, to take in the night Adult entertainment, while the "Kids" (Depending on their ages ) hang out in DQ.

The only issue you might run into is that DQ closes a bit earlier than PI. Of course as I said earlier, we usually get tired and quit before that's an issue.

We did not just take one day. DH loves DQ so we will normally go a few times each trip for a few hours.

According to Disney's websiteDQ is open to 11pm on Sun - Thurs and to Midnight on Friday and Saturday.

after purchasing a ticket to disney quest can you come and go as you please - as in the wdw parks? i would like to spend a day at downtown disney/water parks. would we be able to go and spend some time and then get back in later the same evening?

Last time I was there, they stamped your hand when you left incase you wanted to return later.

I can't say whether they are still doing this. Perhaps someone else here knows?

What time does Disney Quest close? I really wanted to do that last time we went and we didnt because "it wasnt open late enough."

It was open till 11:30 (weekdays- maybe later on Fri/Sat?) during the value season I just went recently.

Also they stamp you even if you have a PAP and therefore can come/go as much as you please! They said they stamped everyone when I said I didn't need a stamp because I have a PAP. So I would think that would mean you can come back with ticket/stamp just like the parks do?
