We (DW, DD 10 and DD 8) have never been to DisneyQuest before and wondering if it is worth the extra expense. It will only be about $10 more a day but just don't know if my girls would even like the video/virtual reality attractions and they don't play them (Xbox, etc.) at home (have never asked for them!) :Pinkbounc . Any thoughts?

We went to DQ for the first time last trip. DS12 & 14 and they play video games at home a lot. They liked it fine. We probably spent about 4 hours there. I asked them if they wanted to go back this trip and they said no.

I thought it was boring. JMHO.

We tried it, since I thought my new husband would love it. He's a big video game player. We found it pretty boring...We will not be back. I got discount tickets, and I would have been upset if we paid full price. We didn't have huge lines or anything, just felt like there wasn't much to do and the "headliner" rides weren't anything that exciting.

My family loves DQ. 2 girls 11 &15, myself & hubby. We always have alot of fun there!

Our family enjoys DQ, the last time we were there my daughters were 14 and 11. BUT the reason we enjoy it is because we all like designing our own roller coasters and then riding them. We hardly play any of the video games. (with the exception of driving the race cars) We do all the simulation rides, the buzz lightyear ride and the life size pinball game.

My girls love that too! Plus the pirate ship, mighty ducks pinball & the living easels! The flying carpet ride is good too. If you are going to give it a try go earlier in the day because it is less crowded. We usually go weds or thurs. Kind of a mid week break.

DQ is a great option IF the weather is crummy for outdoors activities but can't imagine doing it more than once per trip. My teenage sons liked it but the novelty of a place like that isn't quite what it used to be.

We went and though we enjoyed it-being without kids, I dont think we would make the special trip to go there. Speaking as a female, I was definitely less interested in video games and virtual reality but we did have fun. We were only there a few hours.
