We have never been to DQ before. Is there enough for a 9 and 11 yr old to do? And how crowded would a Sat. in March be? We are going early March and talking about doing something besides fight the Sat crowd at a park.

They will LOVE it! I just got back from WDW and spent one evening at Disney Quest (or "Disney in a Box"). It is five floors of various games, all free to play (of course, entrance to DQ costs some $30-$35; we had an Ultimate Park Hopper, which includes admission to DQ). All sorts of video games and virtual reality games. One of our favorites is called (I think) Cyber-Roller
Coaster. You actually design your own roller coaster ride on a computer; you then enter your own personal "coaster", are strapped in, and away you go! The coaster is a pod that (while staying in one place) flips about, somersaults, etc, according to your design: you sit facing a screen that projects the track ahead of you.

DQ is a popular place, especially at night when a lot of local kids come out. However, I imagine that March would not be too bad. Two years ago we went on a Friday night in late February and had no crowds at all.

We went one Sunday Morning and the crouds weren't bad. I think most people as long as the weather is nice will head to the parks. My kids love Disney Quest and I'm pretty sure most kids will too. To tell you the truth I really don't like to play video games and I really enjoyed myself here. There is so much to do besides videogames. Enjoy, Gina

They will have a great time. There is more than enough for a 9 and a 11 year old. I do not know how many local kids are there on a Sat. but it may be busier than a weekday. There is still plenty to do, the lines for the interactive rides may have longer lines.

Does anyone know how crowded Disney Quest is on weeknights? Are weekdays during the day the best time to go? (I'm talking about days when school is in session.

:sunny: Weekday nights when school is "in session" would be slower than the weekends .. with the exception of Friday evening :sunny:

 :earseek: :wave2:
