Hi Everyone!

When we made our Disney resort reservations, they threw in free admission for all of us to get into DisneyQuest, or that miniature golf place (forgot the name because I have actually never heard of it before). I would think DQ would be better, as we can mini golf back home. Can someone please tell me about DQ? Once you get in do you have to pay for individual things/games? What ages is this place appropriate for? I read a little about it, but I still can't figure out what this place is, exactly. We made our reservations by calling the resort directly (POR)....did anyone else get this freebe thrown in? We never got this before. We also got some nice luggage tags in the mail yesterday from Disney....free. Isn't DQ more expensive than the the mini golf place? I was thinking it was a much greater deal to go to DQ, just for that reason.

Thanks for any input :)

Disney Quest is WAY more expensive that mini golf. Go for Disney Quest! Once you get in almost everything is free. You might have to pay for things like the toy you build if you want to take it home, etc. The games and all that stuff are free. If you want to mini golf another time it will be much easier to pay for that out of pocket.

First time we went it was with intentions for a couple hours, turned out we stayed for 8 hours. We had a blast !

Best to go when they open because as the day went on it got more crowded and the evening was very busy.

Look at map and go direct to Pirates ride, you'll love it ! Our kids loved designing their own roller coasters and video of them riding it (simulator) was so great we had to buy it ! Everything from arcade games galore, virtual reality (rafting, flying carpet, fighting cartoon villians, alien space, bumper cars, cartoon class, design your own toy, your own cd etc. Most things you don't have to spend any money, but there are some options to spend.

We also eat inside. Food by cheesecake factory is very good and reasonable.

ps We have played mini-golf, and other than being upscale - it is still mini golf. DQ is double the value !

I would say DQ also - depending on ages of your party. DQ is much more expensive, is inside (not sure when you are going but it will be cool if it is this summer), and is something "different", so it would be a great way to find out what it is --- for free!

Agree with heading to the Pirate attraction first off! The line starts forming quickly.

It is very hard to find an experience like DisneyQuest outside of the world versus miniature golf. Therefore, if you have to choose, I would pick DisneyQuest.
