DisneyQuest best day to attend etc ???

Plan to go to DisneyQuest Friday before Memorial Day. Mistake or not? I'm usually a planner when it comes to parks...in other words, I plan wh/ ride to do first, second, third. Do I need to plan the same way for DQ?
Do you take a number to do certain things like Pirates of the Carribean?
Any suggestions or links for info?

We are planning a trip to DQ too and most people say Friday & Saturday nights are very busy, as well as a rainy day.

Don't know about the other parts of your question but hopefully someone else will respond. I'd be interested to know that too, especially if there's something we should head to first.

I'd recommend the beginning of the week. I think most people come on the week-end, hit the parks first and then do things like the waterparks and DQ. Also, get there right at opening, I believe 11:00 or 11:30. If you only have the week-end, then I guess I would do it that Friday, but get there upon opening, the lines for the popular things start building fast and by 1 or 2 it can get pretty crowded, esp. at the ride type stuff. There's no numbers, just lines like in the parks.

i did it on a weekday afternoon and i was empty, no lines for anything. the only good thing in it is the retro games section. all the classic games from space war in the 60s to the pac man (pac man seemed a little fast too me, can anyone else confirm that) era in the early 80's. all set to free play and in very good condition! my wife and i spent ages in there. pretty much everything else gave us extreme motion sickeness and we are usually pretty hardy; we went on montu and hulk 3 times in a row and were fine. the aladin VR game at DQ made my wife feel sick for the whole day and i didnt feel too great either. it was a whole lot better than inovations at epcot, that truly was a waste of space.
