DisneyQuest best day to attend etc ???

Plan to go to DisneyQuest Friday before Memorial Day. Mistake or not? I'm usually a planner when it comes to parks...in other words, I plan wh/ ride to do first, second, third. Do I need to plan the same way for DQ?
Do you take a number to do certain things like Pirates of the Carribean?
Any suggestions or links for info?

We went to DQ three times on our last visit.
If you go first thing in the morning (11:30a is when it opens I think), you will have no problems. It does get crowded for some attractions. I would recommend doing Pirates of the Caribbean, Cyberspace Mountain, Alien Invasion, and Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters as early as possible.

All attractions have queuing areas and can be very slow.

We have to pick between the waterpark or DQ in the morning and my kids really want to go to the waterpark. We are thinking to try DQ from 4-7pm. This is on Sept. 1st so I am hoping crowds won't be too bad.

What do you think???

DQ turns into bottlenecking gridlock in the afternoon and early evenings. Have fun..
