DF and I would like to enjoy at least a few sit down breakfasts on our Disneymoon. We will be staying at POR. We have the MYW dining package so either within or without of that is fine too. It is my understanding that transportation in the am is far and few, is this correct? Do you have any breakfast options (ie Restrauants) that you think we would enjoy? Character and NonCharacter meal options are fine with us.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance! :goodvibes

We don't often do big breakfasts at Disney because we have a hard enough time getting up in time to hit the parks early! We would usually get a light breakfast and then an earliesh lunch. The one exception is Cinderella's Royal Table, we always do that and it is awesome! I understand the Trails End has a good breakfast buffet at Fort Wilderness, also Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is supposed to have a good breakfast. If you are looking for characters and can't get into CRT, try Crystal Palace in the MK or Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. Have fun!

boatwright's right there at POR serves a very good breakfast. for a character breakfast we enjoy donald's breakfastasarous in AK. and of course cindy's. kona cafe at the poly is good. and i agree w/goodferry. trail's end buffet and WCC are excellent breakfasts. at old key west, olivia's is one of the best breakfasts on property. have a great time! :earboy2:

Do you like buffets? Personally I am not a fan so I would try Whispering Canyon or Kona Cafe. Try Kona on a MK or Epcot morning so you can then Monorail to the parks after breakfast.

Is 1900 Park Fare, at the Grand Floridian. Yeah, you'll be surrounded by hordes of giggling children (EVERY character meal has THAT, after all). But the hotel is beautiful, the buffet is EXCELLENT, and the characters are unique: Mary Poppins, Bert, and sometimes Alice and the Mad Hatter.

Crystal Palace is also fun, and a tad cuddlier: it's got Pooh and friends! It's a great place to go on the morning you're visiting MK; get an early ressie, at 8 or 8:15, and you can be among the first in the park! They also have something really unusual: "breakfast lasagna," which sounds disgusting, but is actually a sweet and creamy trifle with fruit.

And Whispering Canyon is a hoot -- if your arteries can stand sizzling skillets of pork, ham, eggs, bacon...urp. :teeth:

I agree with Greg K about 1900 Park Fare. Very good buffet in good surroundings. DW and I really enjoy this breakfast.

Yes, I recommend 1900 PF. When we went on our honeymoon we stayed at the GF and ate there about 3 times for breakfast. It's a nice place.

Have fun!

For a sit down breakfast I would recommend the Kona and for a buffet Cape May. Both have really good food and a calm atmosphere.
