Disneyland's 55th Aniversary

Does anyone know if there is a 55th Anniversary CD like the 50th's Happiest Celebration on Earth?

I believe they still have the 2 disc set that was first released in 2007. I examined the tracks once when I was in the park and found that the only major difference was that it included music from the newly reopened Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Otherwise, just about every single track on the set was the same.

And if you're talking about the 6 CD set that they released titled "A Musical History of Disneyland" I don't see another set like that being released until the 75th anniversary.

My best guess is that there won't be a new CD released for the DLR until after the DCA renovation is complete. There's still a lot to come in the next few years especially in DCA.

When I was at DL last weekend, I thought I saw a repackaged version of the 6-CD set at the Disney Gallery. I don't believe it had the 55th Anniversary art on it.

Does anyone know if they are going to have any merchandise related to the 55th Anniversary? I know not a bit deal per say (like the 50th), but since we are going to be there I thought it would be fun to get some anniversary stuff if they had any. Thanks.

I have not see too much anniversary specific items, but there has been a lot of 'play' on the 55. Not sure if that is intended to relate to the anniversary.

Good news!! I just read that this week the 55th maps will be available.barefootmama has some already and I will be getting some this weekend, soo if anyone wants one to keep for a scrapbooking or something ,please PM me your address and I will put you on my list, I already got 4 people on it! I always grab like a handful of each park,so I may have extra! I do have regular maps right now also!

There's a whole set of 55th merchandise. It came out months ago and is still on sale. And, as FunBall said, the maps are out. Also, there are special items that will be available on the 17th only.

ur joking right on not seeing the 55th merchandise???????????? it's alll over the park!! the pins have been out for months! and the mugs, and tshirts.. in fact it's been out since january!

and the special 55th disneyland commerative map is out this week only!

disney vault store will be having a special give away thing from 2-4pm! i will be there,i am all for free stuff!

and in case anyone missed it.. special commerative 55th anniversary cakes will be offered at select dining locations!! the magic word is CAKE!!!!!!! and i love cake!!!!
