Disneyland's 49th Birthday

We just signed up today to volunteer for the celebration on July 17th. Anyone going if you happen to see us (I'll have to post a pic) would you mind taking a picture. I have no clue what we'll be doing other than we have to be able to hold light props.

Actually I know very little about it. I don't even know what time it's at other than the fact that we have to be there at 4:30 AM and should be done by 10:30, and that it's in front of the castle. I'm assuming the ceremony is sometime between 9 and 10. We then get to spend the rest of the day at the parks (which is a good thing because my pass expires on the 12th of July and I was hoping to wait until closer till the end of summer to renew)
Our daughter's pass is up on the 17th, so my mom will bring her when we're done and she'll join us (my parent's don't have passes and the CMs can't get people in from that day till the end of summer this year)

Very Kewl- I know my other board has alot planned for that day and its all up in the air until we find out when the event is

We will be in Disneyland area this weekend. Should we try and go to Disneyland on that Saturday? Will it be very crowded and is there something not to miss going on? Thanks!

Rumor has it Gov Arnold will be there and I know there will be 200+ LaughingPlace people runnin around- Not counting the peoples for the pin releases that day-

DL is usually pretty busy on its BDs and with it being a sat- who knows -em
