Anyone know if it is difficult to get a reservation at the Grand Cali (Ithink that is the DVC one) at the 7 month window?

There are a few threads about this and most people have had good luck at 7 months out. So it is possible, but something that cannot be counted on all of the time. April 2012 would be Spring Break month, so it's really hard to say when the villas will book up. If you are set to go at that time, you might put together a back up plan, or rent points from a VGC owner just to be safe. If for some reason you can't get the week you want, can you make other plans?

Last year we were able to get a studio at 7 months out beginning 7/5. I was really worried because it was 4th of July week, but I called right at the month mark and had no problem. Good luck!

We were able to get something in Feb. at the 7 month window. I don't know about April. That might be a bit more difficult because of the crowds that time of year. Good luck.

We stayed a couple of years ago and had no problem hitting the 7th Month mark. We had a wonderful visit.

I would think if it's the week surround Easter you might have more problems booking at the 7 month mark. If you can't get into VGC you can use your points to book at the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotel which are both on property. I think the point cost per night is pretty high though.
