Disneyland?

Nope, no one has ever been, she'll be the first :)

sorry couldn't resist.

Tell her to go and have a good time, how many other chances will she ever get.

Off topic: MM, my Dad was a 50 year Mason whenhe died in August. The Masonic ceremony during his funeral service was beautiful. The wording of the eulogy was awe inspiring and brought us all to tears. I felt honored.

The Masonic Memorial service when done properly can be quite moving. I am glad his brothers could be of service to your family during that time, and I am sorry for your loss.

Yep, we wer there in March and if you've been to WDW then you are going to be very disappointed in HK Disney... It's really quite small... smaller even than Disneyalnd Anaheim.

It hasn't really taken off in Hong Kong, but now that the people who own Ocean Park (HK's answer to Disney, before Disney was built) have bought it, it will grow in both size and popularity.

There's not much in the way or rides for Adutls.. mostly kiddies rides and not all rides open when the park opens. Some don't open till something like midday.

The walk from the station to the park is very nice though as is the station itself.

We were there in June with Adventures by Disney and loved it, loved it, loved it. :thumbsup2

The park was very uncrowded. We especially loved Space Mountain - great graphics AND you only had to wait 2 minutes to get on the ride.

Yes, there are not very many rides, but the lack of crowds definitely more than made up for it.

There are 2 Disney hotels. We stayed at the Hong Kong Disneyland hotel and had a great time there. There were character breakfasts, a fabulous view of the ocean and a very nice pool.

It's not the type of place where you could stay for a week and be on the go constantly, but it's definitely worth a visit for a weekend.

I agree, the lack of crowds is great.. you can virtually walk on to any ride. We actually stayed in Hong Kong.. spent a week over there. Our third trip to Hong Kong and of course this time I just had to take in Disney.

I wouldn't stay at the Disney hotels as you are way out in the middle of nowhere.. nothing else around. We actually really enjoyed the train ride from Kowloon out to Disney.. looooooved that train:goodvibes
