Well there might already be one of these if there is someone please post it and let me know! I just recently had my first trip to disneyland and i wanted to share it with everyone. But i didnt wanna waste a whole thread about just my trip i really wanna hear all of your storys too! If it was your first time, your most recent time, or just a time you went i wanna hear it! :goodvibes

MY STORY: Well i had never been to disneyland before. I went to disneyworld once when i was 4 the only thing i remembered is how badly i wanted to go on the dumbo flying dumbo ride and how i kept telling my mom i wanted to ride the pink dumbo :lmao:. I learned that i could go to DL when my folks decided they wanted to go to LA. So about a week ago we got on a crowded airplane for 5 hours and got ready for a week not to forget. We went to DL at opening time and stayed until closing. I dont know how we managed to have that much energy but it was real magic. What made it so magical was the weird part. Just when you walk in the front door you just take in this deep breath and go "This is it im really in disneyland". We went on a lot of rides but alot of them we didnt go on. I basicly tortured my family into trying the TIKI ROOM. I was just curious what it was and when the show started and a bunch of birds started singing my brother seriously moaned. I dont fancy that show too much either i just enjoyed it when they sang that tiki room song that plays in VMK. It felt backwards some people miss disney so they play vmk and it makes them not miss disney so much at first i never understood it. Honestly i was never a big disney fan i thought "disney is for 5 year olds" but i never actually remembered that so i had no right to say that. When my friend told me about vmk i completely fell in love. Once i fell in love with vmk i relized "theres no way that any age person kept saying how much they loved disney or missed it theres no way that they would miss it if it was for little kids" and i needed to grasp that. Didnt take long for me to do. OH MY WORD I KEEP GETTING OFF TOPIC!:scared1: a lot of rides i decided to go on because it was a disney expirence but some of them i decided "they have this ride at home i dont really wanna waste time on it when i could be doing something else with better use of my time." Late at night i decided to do the "STORYBOOK land" ride and well our tour guide lady who was running it was obiously so thrilled about it. She was so mono toned "aanndddd heerrr is wheerrree princeesss jasmine livesss...". I decided to go check out the "Nemo submarine voyage ride" and the line was so long it was amazing so i took everyones advice and i walked to the exit and asked abougt vmk cards. So i asked a worker and he said "I dont know what your talking about go check (some help building) in main street" so we did that and we waited in line for help and finally we went up and said "We asked about nemo submarine voyage cards for vmk and he said to check here do you know anything about these?" and he said "I honestly dont know what that is when they dont know what your talking about they usually send you to us let me call around and see" so we waited and finally we got the word back that the day i came they ran out! :scared1: but the man that was helping us was so nice he said that they get new shipments in daily so he asked for my adress and hes going to send one to my house. I also checked by innoventions and my family wasnt interested in checking it out and im fine with that because just the fact that i even got to expirence disney and what they did for the card it was really sweet:hug: and i couldnt ask for a better family. We decided to see the "50 years of magic" Or whatever its called with steve martin and donald duck and it was really touching if anyone decided to go to disney i suggest to see that it helped. During the parade floats and stuff they were amazing the thing that got me was this float with Ropes and they were hanging and doing all these amazing moves on it. I dont remember what float it was but it was just shocking stuff. I also saw "Honey i shrunk the auidence" and that was kewl. The thing that really touched me and really completed my day was the little show with steve martin and donald duck.

Well i dont really know much more to say:confused3 I still dont know if i should call myself a disney fan because ive only been twice and i still dont know very much about disney and vmk.

God bless and please post your disney storys! Like i said I wanna hear it! ALL OF IT! :wizard: :wizard:

I love that little show too, and I do get a little teary eyed during it. Glad you had such a fun time at Disneyland. I don't think it matters how many times you've been to the parks (some people never get to go) If you love Disney, you are a Disney fan :goodvibes

Agree!! You don't have to ever step foot in a Disney park to be a Disney fan or love it. Its something I grew up with and we did at least 2 times a year. I even remember when the Disney Channel started. :rotfl: But I have always loved their movies as a kid and can remember watching them over and over and over again. Now I have my own kids that love Disney. Instead of being an hour from it like I was growing up, we are 20 minutes from it and have annual passes. I love sharing it all with my kids. Our 11 month old daughter is really starting to get into things now with Mickey Mouse Club House and My Friends Tigger and Pooh so she sees them anywhere she recognizes them. Which is so cool. I have way to many memories to share from Disneyland. They go all the way back to when my sister was a baby and Goofy patting her on the head as he walked by...fast forward many years later to my first child and Minnie patting my oldest son on the head as a baby (he was scared of the characters for awhile and this changed it) and he "loved" her after that for many years. My other son ended up "loving" Snow White and I have a wonderful pic of him in his Halloween costume from one year that my MIL made him pieces to dress as her Prince Charming (I dressed on Halloween as Snow White for him). I can't wait to see which character becomes my little Princess' favorite as she gets older. No matter what too my boys still get wrapped up in the magic and love to see the characters. Even though my oldest knows they are just people in costumes and he is now 9. :goodvibes

Glad you had a wonderful time out here Ms.Squeakers.

Thanks yep that steve martin thing is really cute i got these little tears when i watched it. Disney at night is almost where the real magic begins its just amazing how everything is just lights. Apperently they moved the disneyland night lights parade thing. (Im not quite sure what its called but my parents were telling me about it) but they moved it to california adventure.

This thread was moved??? where was it moved? I figured it would be moved but its still my thread...

Im confused
