Disneyland with ADD Child

my sister was on meds my mom took her off it becouse there is some questions to what it causes over time. NOW 7 years later it is actely being said it can coouse cancer in the futre.
I will never put my son on meds even if they say he is adhd.
Maybe the kids mom has to do it for the stupid school and decieds when she dosnet have school he dosnet need to take the poision..
I hate docs and how they try to describe and Say HE must take this or he will never be normal..

LOL, if I didn't have a constant stream of kiddos (as well as one of my own) passing through my room--and my life--I probably would forget, too, CyberDeb! How does your son do now that he's on his own? My DD is a delight to us, but also a challenge, and she struggles with relationships with teachers and peers. I would like to hear that your son is managing beautifully on his own, because that would give me hope.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, we just got back from our trip. Well there is always hope. ALthough he is his own worst enemy, he is doing well. He has his own apartment and works full time. Finally got himself a car. Really funny thing though is that he was the sloppiest kid i ever met. I was the queen of behavior mods and at one time took a picture of what his room looked like clean and put them on the wall so he could try to make it look that way. Well he now has an apartment and was allowing a friend to stay with him and there were always people there and he got so aggravated that they made a mess. He developed an obbsessive Compulsive cleaning (god whyt couldnt he have that when he lived at home. Well anyway, he took pictures of his apartment when it was clean and put them on his walls to try to get his friends to clean up after themselves.
