Disneyland What is your FP/Walk-on trajectory?

I thought this would be interesting to see how you order your day. Do you have a FastPass strategy? Do you have a walk-on strategy, or a little of both.

Over the years, I have fallen into a pattern on how I "do" the park. It is not a rigid schedule, but it does tend to follow a similar trajectory.

It goes something like this:

Enter park at rope drop
Head down mainstreet, turn through adventureland
Ride POC
Ride HM
Pick up FP for Indiana Jones
Eat breakfast at River Belle Terrace (can't do this part anymore :( will exchange for Rancho del)
Walk on Big Thunder Mountain
FP return or Indiana Jones.
Head back out to Main Street then onto Tomorrowland
Get FP for Space Mountain
Walk on Star Tours
Go ride Small World
FP return for Space Mountain
From there we tend to wing it until eating time.. by this time it is close to lunch which is often Galactic Grill or we skip it for a "Linner"
Ride Train
Maybe Nemo ride if the line isn't too long
Rest and people watch
Pick up FP for later HM
Parade
Return for nighttime small world
FP return for HM
Matterhorn if not too long
Fireworks
Then head home.
What is your day like?

Oppsie. 5am pre-coffee brain fog. :o. I don't know if I can edit the title
You can edit the title. At the top right side of your first post there should say something about editing the title - only the person who started the thread can see it.

Winter (no Splash Mt)
Rope drop, get Space Mt Fastpass (8:45-9:45 return)
Ride Space Mt
Ride Matterhorn
{Ride Indy + get FP to indy} Order dependent on time/when I can get next FP. FP will be like 9:30-10:30 return time.
Ride Big Thunder
Use Space FP
{maybe another trip on Matterhorn depending on time}
Get Star Tours FP (maybe 10:30ish return time)
Use Indy FP
PoC
Haunted Mansion
{Maybe Thunder again, depending on time}
Get Space Mt FP
Use Star Tours FP.

For summer, skip Indy FP and get Star Tours second. That opens up the 3rd Fp for Splash, which will have a return time early afternoon.

Main Street
get Fast Pass for Space Mountain
Walk on Star Tours
Walk on Peter Pan
Buzz
Use Space Mountain Fast pass
Get indiana Jones Fast pass
Splash Mountain
HM
POC
Eat in New orleans square (the best food options IMO)
Ride Indiana Jones
Get Big Thunder fast pass

After that we usually wing it!

THANK YOU! I've saved all these. We head down there Christmas night and will be in the parks 12/26-12/30. I'm stressing about crowds and need a plan! Any plans for DCA?

Disneyland Christmas:
730am: Get to the entrance early
8am-9am: Alice in Wonderland, Casey Jr, Matterhorn, It's a Small World Holiday.
Save every other Fantasyland attraction for later in the day. Skip Toontown, come back to that an hour before it closes.
9am-1130am: Grab FP for Indy, ride Jingle Cruise, Mansion Holiday, Splash, Winnie, Grab FP for Hyper Space, Use FP for Indy, ride Pirates.
Even if the line looks long for Pirates, ride it as the line is shorter than it looks. When the like splits to the left or right, choose right. Save Big Thunder for later as that FP lasts all day
1130am: Have early lunch to avoid crowds,
1230pm-4pm: Grab FP for Star Tour and immediately grab FP for Buzz (disconnected), then use FP for Hyper Space. Now will have to buy some time until you can use the ST and Buzz FP. Ride Autopia, visit the Launch Bay, see Enchanted Tiki Room, once it is time to use FP for Star Tours, grab FP for Big Thunder.
4pm-On: Watch the Christmas Parade, ride some of those missed Fantasyland attractions, use that FP for Thunder.
If you go to Toontown, grab that Roger Rabbit FP first then see Magical Map, visit Mickey, etc.

DCA
730am: Get to the entrance early
8am-945am: Grab FP for RSR, ride TSMM, California Screamin, Mickeys Funwheel, Symphony Swings, Goofy's Sky School, Golden Zephyr, then grab FP for World of Color, and ride Grizzly River
Save Mermaid for later it rarely has a line, It usually starts to get warm around 10am, so it will feel good after Grizzly
945am-11am: Grab FP for Tower, use FP for RSR, Visit Bugs Land and ride those attractions
Mater's later in the day has no line.
11am: Early Lunch
12pm-430pm: Grab FP for Soarin next, Visit Hollywood Land and ride some attractions in this area before you use FP for Tower.
Now decide when to watch Frozen Musical, visit the Animation Academy and use that FP for Soarin.

Enjoy,
ME

Most of your schedules match mine except for Day 1. My first order of business is to dance down Main Street with a big smile on my face!:yay:

DCA, you MUST get Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass first thing. They go early.
Then I like to do ToT, but that is going to be insane as you are going to be there the last week in its existence. I'd imagine a huge chunk of opening crowd is going straight there. I waited an 75 mins for it a couple weeks ago. I have heard standby hit over 120 mins this week. I'd be sure to be hanging around ToT FP machines and try to grab 1 as soon as your window opens after RSR FPs.

Soarin' is the next longest out to get. I doubt you will be able to get that one after RSR and ToT, so I'd skip that FP until 4th. Get Screamin' FP, Toy Story, use Screamin FP. Then Soarin FP.
