Just some info on Disney crowds: I went to Disneyland yesterday and had a great time, especially because the crowd level was low. We walked on California Screamin', Matterhorn SR, and were the only ones in the FP line for Splash so that also turned out to be a walk on. I really wanted to see Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever again so we showed up around 8 and tried our luck in front of the castle. There was plenty of room here and we claimed a spot front and center! Granted we were a little further back from the parade route, but it was worth it for the great view of the fireworks. Sadly, Tinkerbell and Nemo didn't fly
Disneyland Forever was at 9:10 and they said they were unsure if Fantasyland would reopen afterwards. The lady I asked said it had to do with winds. If you plan to ride Peter Pan after the fireworks, head to the back of Fantasyland by Dumbo as they always open that side first. We were one of the first in line, but really the queue filled up to a 45 minute wait within minutes so if you're not into people pushing and shoving you, I would forgo this experience. Peter Pan kept fluctuating from a 25 minute to 45 minute wait throughout the day. Anyways, just thought I would share my experience for anyone visiting DL soon, however, I imagine the crowds will increase as there are upcoming events, marathons, and Halloween Time.
