Disneyland Tours

I'll be going to DLR next summer and want to do a couple of tours. I have a DD who will be 9 years old. We're planning on doing the Discover the Magic Tour (which is designed for kids). We also were looking at the Walk in Walt's Footsteps but was concerned they would discuss or show us things that would ruin the magic for my DD. All it says is that it's not for young children, but I don't know what they mean by "young". Has anyone been on this tour that can give some advice on this. Thanks.
