DL tickets are very cheap on Expedia.com/au in Oz dollars. Do Kiwi's use this site too? If so how do you pay, it's no bargain in Kiwis?

Is this for the longer passes?

I normally just use my CC to pay on-line. Expedia.com.au is fairly well used by some of the other Aussies here, not sure about the Kiwis.

For a three day pass, your friends would be better to check out the New Zealand Expedia site.
At the current NZ-US exchange rate there is around a $NZ10 saving on the passes that are valid until the end of May, although there are some blockout dates on these, but there is virtually no difference for anything valid after that date.
Credit card and/or bank fees, might make the savings greater if your friends pay in local currency.
Another option, is for them to print out prices from different places and take the quotes to a travel agent. TA's may be prepared to match or better them.

Thank you, this is a good idea that I passes on to my friend as exchange rates he will have to deal with one way or another.

He going to look at Expedia.nz, are thier other Kiwi version of site he should check?
