Disneyland ticket for LA residents

Does anyone know if you get someone that lives in LA to buy you the $99 3 day hopper tickets, do you have to show proof of residence when you enter the park?

No proof of residency required at the turnstiles. Just at the ticket booth to buy or pick up the tickets.

If a SoCal resident buys them for you, you're good to go.

What...really? Do they have to go to Disneyland to buy them or can they buy them at Costco?

they "MIGHT" ask you you show your ID or proof of residence.

but the chances are slim...

you can buy them online(i think), at costco or go to Disneyland and buy tickets.

There was a post the other day and the majority seemed to believe you have a good chance to be checked at the turnstile. Just buy a regular ticket, no chance of being disappointed.
