Disneyland - Stair Difficulty

We plan on visiting Disneyland in April. I have knee issues and difficulty accessing stairs. Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain are three attractions that have stairs. In the past I have received a piece of paper with a return time. Is this still the way it works, or will the return time be added to my admission card?

For avoiding stairs you have to speak to the CMs at each attraction as it is now dealt with differently at each attraction. If the accommodation is to load through the accessible entrance then you may get a return time depending on how many people are waiting to load that way. For Space the stairs are only at the exit, so you could just use FP and tell the CMs when loading that you need to use the alternate loading area. Of course I'd double check on that one, with the caveat that it's a long walk between the entrance and the exit if you get turned away. Splash I'm not sure if they send you through the standard queue until the first stairs or not because I basically only do single rider there. Some others to look out for are Jungle Cruise, they sometimes use the upstairs and sometimes not. I guess ask a CM at the exit which way to go. TSMM also has stairs on the exit only so when they sort you into ride cars ask for the accessible area instead. And RSR has stairs at the exit. If you use an FP, when you get to the point where they put you on the ramp to load, as for the accessible loading area instead. Also on Indy there is a gate juts before the stairs and a CM should be there to let you use the elevators.

Thanks. I was wondering how they would handle the return times when stairs are involved, since they now attach the DAS return times to ones park ticket. I don't get a DAS, since I only need to avoid stairs. So I was curious if they had changed the way things worked for avoiding stairs.

Not really different than it was post-GAC, but you sort of need to advocate. But yes, there are DAS return times and wheelchair/accessible return times and both use your ticket. The DAS are open ended, but the others are not, so make sure you keep track with a piece of paper or alarm on your phone.
