We are planning our first Disneyland trip for next month and I wanted to hear recommendations for families with younger kids -- we have daughters ages 2 and 4.

Paradise Pier and DL Hotel look very kid friendly, but we also like the looks of the Grand Californian.

Any and all input welcome! Thanks,

Be there at park opening and do fantastyland first thing. Then branch out to the other lands. I gotta go hop on a plane to LA now. I will be at DLR on Monday. Good luck!!:thumbsup2

We enjoyed the Disneyland hotel the best with our little one's. When we checked in there were character's in the lobby and we even saw Snow White one night! The grounds and pool are great and I love the Goofy's kitchen for the character breakfast. I also love the Grand Californian and it's a beautiful hotel and pool but really does have more of an "adult" feel to it. We only stayed at Paradise Pier, once, a long time ago and I don't remember being that impressed with the hotel but I understand it's had a makeover since we've been and I've heard good things about it as well.

I would definetly start your day out in Fantasyland and then go from there.

Have fun!

Definately agree with above poster...Disneyland Hotel!!

I have to boys (now 6 and 8) and our last 3 trips on site have all been at the DLH. I really love the grounds and my boys like driving the little boats... It's my favorite place to stay!
