Mike --

Thank you! Your Mickey and the Magical Map picture is perfect -- it really reminds me of something I would see in a brochure or program, next to a synopsis or description of the show. That's the sort of shot Disney would want to use in any press or media advertising the show, I would think.

Denise --

I love that photo you posted^^. It's adorable! It really captures the spirit of the holiday season at DLR. Is she one of the elves/helpers at the Santa photo spot in Elias and Company?

About the Santa/reindeer photo I posted above -- I was in the parks on Friday, 11/15. I was headed out of DCA to go to DTD to see the Winter Village. I almost didn't even look towards Hollywood Land because I wasn't expecting any decorations there at all. I don't think there have been any decorations in Hollywood since 2009 or so? Or was it 2010? Whenever Glow Fest and ElecTRONica came along, the decorations disappeared. Last year there was some red and white garland on a few lampposts, but that was it.

So as I was walking out, I happened to glance in the direction of Hollywood Land and I spotted what resembled a bit of garland on one of the facades. I was curious and decided to investigate, only to discover that there are actual decorations in Hollywood Land! Many of the facades (including Off the Page) have different garland. There are a couple of window displays (one of which has a tinsel-ish tree with star ornaments). There are little circles with Santas and stars on some of the posts and trees. There are even Christmas trees outside of the Hyperion!

And then, at the end of the street, is that Santa/reindeer display! I had to stifle my glee at seeing actual decorations in Hollywood Land, but that Santa/reindeer display reminded me of what I used to see in Hollywood when I was a child in the '70s. I remember looking out car windows as the adults drove down Hollywood Blvd. at night (and other streets too, I think), and I always waited to see Santa and his reindeer flying overhead.

I also felt that the Hollywood Land decorations were a nice complement to the Buena Vista Street decorations -- vintage-ish, but still classy and elegant. The Santa/reindeer thing is just fun!

11/15!! I was there on 11/18-21!!! I went back and checked my pictures and it was there!!! Here is my only picture of it! :lmao:

See it??!

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2: I used to live in Downey when I was a child - in the 60's  and remember riding around in bumper to bumper traffic through neighborhoods to see the incredible displays people would set up in their yards. Oh So. Cal.! :)

And yes, that adorable elf was w/Santa in Elias & Co. Here I am w/Santa.

When I saw the elf, I said "OMG! You are so adorable!" and in a little Betty Boop doll voice she quipped, "no, YOU are!" Too cute. :cutie:

I'm also loving the flying reindeer.

And Santa's elf is just too cute for words! Forget Santa..... we want our picture with her! :lmao:

Very nice pictures Mike, Sherry and Denise on Thanksgiving Day.

Here is my picture of Santa at night.
