Disneyland Resort Picture of the Day #5!!

Hi, Lori!

This is definitely one of the best and most interesting threads on the board because it's great to see what everyone else notices, and what catches his or her eye while at DLR! I know that I notice something "new" -- or something that I've never noticed before -- every time I'm there...some little detail or hidden gem. I know that other people are noticing things as well, and the possibilities of things to discover seem endless!

Here is today's contribution (from 4/14/14)...

Hi Sherry! :flower3: Love this pic, BTR? I love your path pictures, I find myself doing that sometimes...

I just booked Dapper Day, and got the Amazing deal at the DLH!!!! Yahoo! I am coming back for 6 nights, in 146 days.... but who is counting? :lmao:

Lori --

Thank you so much!:) Your photos are always great!

I'm happy to know that I am not the only one who is randomly -- for no apparent reason -- snapping pictures of empty paths!:rotfl2:

The photo I posted earlier today is from the Springtime Roundup area that is open at DL right now, next to the Ranch/BBQ. The photo I posted yesterday is of one of the eggs on the Easter egg hunt in Disneyland. I found the locations of the eggs in Disneyland to be a bit more interesting than the locations in DCA, but it was all fun!

The Easter festivities are a nice addition to DLR's exciting roster of holiday celebrations, but not on the same level as Halloween Time and certainly not like the holiday season.

I have yet to visit DLR during Dapper Day(s), but I hear it is a lot of fun.

Hi Lori. :wave2: Nice to see you back on the threads. Nice to hear that you will be going back to the DLR during Dapper Day.

Nice picture from Springtime Roundup Sherry.

Thank you, Bret!

Here is another one from the Springtime Roundup -- I really liked the contrast and juxtaposition of the blue of the sky, the green trees and leaves, and the lavender-ish flowers, along with the sort of rusty turquoise of the rooster!:rotfl2: Everything was so bright and cheery!

You are Welcome Mike, are you planning a trip west?? :)

Possibly. Thinking maybe October. Just a few days and then head up to Monterey. Those Dapper Days rates though might have me changing to September.

Hey Mike! Sure, Dapper Day is Sept 12th, and is you stay that day, the whole rest of your stay is the same discounted price....

Let me know if you get a reservation.... Great rates on all 3 resort hotels!

How can this be? It's $194 a night on this site (is it a Disney site?) vs. $330 a night if you go through Disneyland.com :confused3:

Are there special Dapper Dan activities on Saturday? I don't see it listed on the Disneyland site or on Touringplans.com.

I booked the room, and yes, its a Disney site, it is "group" booking... so it's kind of like a convention rate.... The room is $226.00 with tax.. I have the confirmation emails.
Not sure of any special activities, I'm just going during this time for the Awesome rate! I was planning on the Residence Inn Maingate, but these rates Beat it!! :cheer2:
