Does anyone know if DRE Shuttles is offering the $5 coupon still?

I cant seem to find it, and would appreciate any help.

I dont know anything about that. However you might want to check out GetAwayToday.com for tickets. When we bought ours last year they were only $9 each. I dont know if they still have that deal, but its worth a shot to check it out.

Does GAT send actual vouchers or do you just print off a confirmation type thing? If they sent them, do you remember how long it took to get them?

They also send it by email if you are traveling soon. I just called them to ask because we are leaving on Monday. The phone call took maybe 5 minutes and the voucher was emailed to me while I was on the phone. Now, I just need to call and make reservations!! YAY!!

We just used the DLRExpress on our trip. I don't think I would use them again since they switched to hourly departures from LAX. We watched the bus pull away from he curb at 11:20 as we were rushing out the door, then next bus didn't come around until 12:45. No matter how you do the math, that's more than an hour between busses. With over 100 busses as the driver told us there's no excuse for that. To top it off our driver was falling asleep while driving.

They accepted the coupon just fine. We just used them and I don't think I'd use them again either. We just missed the 9 am shuttle from SNA and the 10 am bus didn't show up until around 10:30 and didn't leave until almost 11. Going back to the airport wasn't as bad, but they were still 15 minutes late picking us up. That's a big deal when you're standing outside in the cold and rain with little kids. (yesterday was really cold and rainy.) It was nice not having to lug around the car seats though.

Afraid of this happening to us, we're using Karmel Shuttle tomorrow morning. I'll update with our experience with them. Thanks for posting about your wait! Sorry it happened.
