I got a quote from Disney on renting a car for two days while we are in Disneyland and it was $120 for two days.

Can I get a better deal some other way or is that pretty reasonable?

I am new to Disneyland so any help would be awesome!

Check out Mousesavers.com. Prices were outrageous for our trip in 1 1/2 weeks, but found a great code there.

The key phrase from the original post is "from Disney" - you should be able to do better. There are numerous car rental agencies ringing the DLR area, and there's even one in DTD near Compass Books. Just go to Google maps and enter "anaheim car rental" to see the cluster of agencies. The Mousesavers advice is useful too.

Depends on the date. I just got a price from Alamo for 2 days (Sep 10 to Sep 12) renting from DTD for $46.00. That's not a misprint! Renting the same 2 days from LAX was $170.00.

Are you renting from the airport or while in anaheim? We've used national twice and have gotten good prices using mousesavers codes. They do have a location around the corner from the Candy Cane Inn if you are renting while at DL.

We are taking Grayline to DL and then renting the car at DTD for the last 2 days we are at DL. We then return the car to LAX (instead of taking Grayline).

Armand - I see where the cost is - the one-way rental. If you rent in one location and drop off at another, it is more expensive, as the agency has to pay to transport cars around to keep stock balanced.

Hey - when are you guys coming? I can pop by to say hello!

PS - the offer to pop by and say hi is open to everyone coming out this way (if possible).

I am renting at DTD and returning to LAX. It is possible that Alamo needs to rebalance their inventory and giving incentives to rent at DTD and return to LAX. I didn't try pricing a rental for pickup AND return to DTD.

We will be there from (tentatively) from Sept 8-12. We'd like to stay longer but we are booked for the DVC Member cruise on Sept 13. We haven't booked a resort yet. Thinking maybe Disneyland Hotel (we stayed at the Grand Californian last year and thinking of trying something different).
