Disneyland Railroad during Fireworks?

Last summer we got off at the Main Street Station right in the middle of the fireworks. I thought it loaded and kept going, but don't really remember.

I don't know if they do all the time but I know we have been at Main Street Station watching the fireworks from the line. I was bummed when the train arrived and we had to get on (I wanted to see the rest of the fireworks, LOL).
But I specifically remember watching them as we pulled out of Main Street Station.

Some of Fantasyland's rides close, and all of Toontown, of course.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is OPEN and it's an amazing, almost surreal, experience. :goodvibes If you listen to last week's DIS Unplugged podcast, there's a tip about seeing the fireworks from the Storybookland Canal Boats too...I've heard of that before, though I've never tried it myself, and there was some debate among the podcasters as to if the ride is actually open or if the person who submitted the tip just hijacked the boat...

I just want to be sure that the train at least starts again as soon as the fireworks are over. The fireworks are at 840, fantasmic at 900 and 1015. so i am hoping to watch the fireworks from Main Street, then hop on the train to NOS so I can grab a spot for the second fantasmic easily.

The reason I asked is that I'd like to take the train from Main St station to NO Square after the first Fantasmic! lets out so I can be "behind" the exiting crowd and secure a spot for the 10:15 show, instead of having to "swim upstream" and walk from Main St. I know the 8:40 fireworks show will have long ended, but I wasn't sure if they started the train up again after the show.

Yes, the train starts up again. We have gotten on it after watching the fireworks from the train station.

BTMRR is a must do during the fire works. I try to do this at least a couple times during the visit...surreal is an understatement.

I like to do BTMRR during the fireworks, it's very cool. I also liked doing Splash during the fireworks, we got lucky and hit the big drop just as some big colorful fireworks were going off, it was super neat. Of course we didn't get to see any of the other fireworks but that drop was the coolest. LOL :)

What else closes during the firworks?
Does BTM close? :)

To be more specific, everything in or inside the Castle Walls close. After Fireworks there is another rope drop, people mostly rush to Mr, Toad and Peter Pan when it drops about 30 minutes after the fireworks end.

I can confirm, I've been stuck on Storybookland during fireworks before.
