Hi folks,

We've been to WDW many times, and I'm hoping to pay a visit to Disneyland soon, and I have a couple of basic planning questions. Is LAX the easiest/closest airport to fly in to? And how far a drive is that from Disneyland? Does Disneyland offer like a Magical Express if staying onsite?

John Wayne (SNA) is the closest/easiest airport to fly into. It's smaller, which is great, but might also have fewer convenient/direct flights.

No Disney provided transportation. A variety of shuttle services are available that you pay for. We typically use Super Shuttle. There are limo services, cabs, Uber, etc. Transportation will cost less from SNA since it's closer.

We always fly into SNA when we go to DLR, it is a small airport and very easy to navigate. It is a much closer drive then if we were to fly into LAX. Our transportation to the resort, we get a cab. A couple downsides to flying into SNA...1) depending on where you are coming from, the tickets could be a little more expensive (we are from Chicago and it seems to be that the tickets are about $20 or more expensive then flying into LAX 2) Like the PP said, they have fewer direct flights coming in there. If these are not problems for you then I would highly suggest flying into SNA rather then LAX.

Check out Google Maps for driving directions and distances.
