Is Disneyland doable in one day or better spreading it out over 2 days as a solo? Is it less crowded on a Thursday? Are there discounts on tickets, such as AAA or Disney Visa? What attractions have single rider lines?

When are you going? Are you just doing DL or are you going to parkhop?

2 days is always better than one. 3 days is even better if you are doing both parks.

It's less crowded on a Thursday than a Saturday, sure.

What kind of ticket are you buying? That will determine what type of discounts are available.

For a single, not staying onsite, not buying 3 or more days, I don't recommend Thursday, as it is an EE day. Try Wednesday instead. I also recommend 2 days instead of 1. 1 is manageable on a Wednesday, but to see most of the highlights, two or more is necessary. Sorry, but there aren't many discounts on 1 or 2 day tickets, unless you're a teacher or a college student. Danger Mouse is correct with the SR lines, except at DCA, GRR and Mulholland Madness also use them.

Am heading to California the night of 11/14 (Wednesday), so I was thinking of heading up to Anaheim early am on 11/15 (Thursday) and returning the afternoon of 11/16 (Friday). I'm not a coaster fan (will only do BTMRR). Was thinking of a 2 day park hopper, to at least do Soarin' at DCA, but there is not much more that I would probably do at DCA.
