(And before anyone asks...)Yes I posted this on the DL board, but not too many people over there.. so thought I would ask over here.

IS it true that Mr Toads is still open in Disneyland? I didn't know there was one in WDW, but then I only went there for the first time in 2000. So when I heard it was closing, I assumed it was at DL, but the DL website says its open there.

Also, the website says that a 3 year old can go on Gadgets Go-Coaster. The lap bar goes all the way across so if a little kid sits with an adult, can he be properly held in?

And a 3 year old on Matterhorn??? :earseek: That seems unbelievably young! I haven't been on Matterhorn in YEARS so maybe its slower or not as wild as I remember.... Anyone every taken a little little kid on that?

Mr. Toad is still at DL...although it was closed for refub in Nov. when we were there.
Not sure about Matterhorn. There were a lot of young kids riding it, not sure if as young as 3. It isn't as fast as I remember it being.
Don't know about Gadget's Go_Coaster.

Yes to Toad- It reopened from its refurb Dec 12-

Both the Matterhorn and Gadgets have a 35" requirement- Which means most little kids can ride them--

Gadget's coaster is the same as Goofy's Barnstormer. Exact same coaster, identical layout.

As yes, Toad is still in CA. Remind me to make a pilgrimage soon...

Another yes to Toad....

On the Matterhorn, you sit two to a seat, straddling each other---the grown-up sits in the back (or larger person), and then the seat belt fits snugly around the both of you. You also sit pretty far down in your Bobsled so it would be difficult to fall out....it is NOT that fast- I think top speed is around 25 MPH...it's more jostly than anything else.

Gadget's Go Coaster is incredibly tame- like Goofy's Barnstormer...as I recall they are small, snug seats, very condusive to a smaller child.

We went to DL the last time when my DS was 3 -almost 4- and he was exactly 40" tall. He went on lots of the fast rides- Splash, Star Tours, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, without a problem.
