We are going in December and saw someone mention a good deal on tickets at Costco with a $50 Disney gift card. The catch is that it says you must live in a certain zip code. Do they really check that? Is it when you purchase them or when you are at the gate?

What costco's carry it??? The one by my house doesnt have any offers like that. I wonder if it's only the ones near Disneyland.

The Torrance Costco sells them, they don't check when you buy the ticket, but DL WILL check when you use the tickets for the first time.

Costco website says:

Must reside within ZIP codes 90000-93599 / Proof of residency required
upon redemption
Item # 526495

So I have a question and the Costco PH passes. Can you upgrade them to a Annual Pass? I have done that with the Summer Pass before, but I am unsure if you can with the Costco passes.

We are going the last week in Oct and then the first weekend of Dec. I am thinking of upgrading to AP in Dec. before the last day is used.

You can upgrade, though the upgrade value that they will apply towards your AP is only $151. The pass will be valid from the date of first use of the costco ticket.

Thank you, the donut, for the information. I figured that they wouldn't take the whole $199 value.

DISNEYLAND COSTCO 4 DAY PARK HOPPER

this is the link to the costco website, i saw these the other night when i was there. i think you have to show proof of residency in the zip codes posted. It's not the actual tickets you get at costco, its just the gift card, then you redeem that that the tickets booths at DLR for the actuall ticket! :surfweb: :cheer2:

I went and bought two of the four day hopper tickets at Costco in Oxnard today. They gave me the DL park ticket and the $50 gift card. I will not need to go to the ticket booth and exchange a voucher for a ticket. That will save us some time.

I'm really itching to buy these Costco tickets, But worried My girlfriend might not be able to get in. I'm a socal resident with valid id and zipcode, but she lives in another state temporary for college and no longer has any socal proof of residency.

What do you guys think?

Whether they check every time or only sporadically shouldn't matter, as the rules for eligibility are clearly stated. Costco warehouses in Nevada (and I believe Northern California) offer the Southern California Citipass package for a very good discount. This package is valid for anyone.

I see...if I use it for the first time in December, and upgrade in March, it will still expire in Demember? Right?

Just purchased a (1) 4day pass from Costco Website, I figure I'll make some discount anyways and not risk any inconveniences at the gates.

$200 Costco Website ($50 Gift Card Included)
$201 Disneyland Website

Once I receive the Gift Card, I'll use it towards the $201 4day Disneyland Website special (yes the Disneyland website accepts gift cards) :teacher:

$351 instead of $402 is a cost savings pirate:

Finger scans! I hated those things in WDW. Talk about a longer wait to get into the park.

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that the DIS does not condone any discussion that goes against Disney's rules, including eligibility for tickets offered to Southern California residents.

Any further discussion on cheating Disney will result in more deleted posts and/or infractions.

Please make it easy for everyone and just don't go 'there' on the DIS.

Thanks! :thumbsup2
