Disneyland Paris Shares

Hello
I am new to this so this post maybe in the wrong place but hopefully someone can help me!
I was given shares in Disneyland Paris as a Christening gift (in 1990!), 200 I think.
I was just wondering if someone could tell me how much they are worth now?

In December 2007 there was a reverse split of Euro Disney shares. This is an operation that substitutes existing shares with new shares, fewer in number, but with a higher nominal value. Euro Disney implementied a consolidation of shares at the ratio of one (1) new share for every one hundred (100) old shares.

If your shares have not been consolidated you now own two new shares of Euro Disney SCA stock which is trading today at about 6.57 euros. So your two shares are worth about £10.33.

Since June 2008 the old Euro Disney S.C.A. shares are not listed on Euronext Paris anymore. Trading of old shares take only place on the "Over The Count" (OTC) market. To exchange your old shares for new ones you need to contact your stock broker.

Have a read of this which explains the benifits of having shares. To get these benifits though you have to be a member of the shareholders club. There is also a link to the official shareholders club website at the bottom of the link. Be aware though that some time ago shares were changed so your 200 shares were consolodated into fewer shares which are greater value. I'm not explaining this very well, but hopefully the links will help answer any questions.

Can i ask what are the names of the shares to buy?

Emma, its Eurodisney EDL. I would keep an eye on prices for a few days before you buy them as they are going up and down all the time

I won't be buying them for another month or so anyway. How much is the self trade registration and how much do i pay to DLP. I will only buying 5 shares.

I am in the middle of doing mine I've bought the shares - it was about £40, that included a £12 fee to self trade. You then need to fill in a form online and post it with credit card details or a cheque for 30 euro payment, and send your selftrade confirmation to join the shareholders.

Going to send mine all off tomorrow!

Thats not bad, i have 40euros left over from our trip so i can put that towards it. Going to get them for myself as a Christmas present so will be ready to use the discounts in January
