Hi

I thought I would start a poll with a few dates to see which one works out better for everyone. So everyone can come.

so far we have

Claire and 3 children
Laura and husband
Jules and Ian (Saratogirl)
Custard tart and family
Lizzybear and sister
Wideeyes and family (unable to come)
Kirsty and friend (KKYYMY)
Chrismoo
Jennifer and family (Nifferwilko)

Have I missed anyone? Please let us know as well as the poll which dates you prefer as well as any other.

Anyone else?

Thanks
Michelle, Claire and Laura

I would say 15-17 June or 21-23 June. Caseys sats has finished. Bruce wants to extend the holiday whilst we are over there.

Just remembered that some new rides are opening at the studios in June, which will be great.

Crushes Coaster
Cars race rally

Plus as it will be the 15th anniversary they will a brand new parade and a ceremony every night where they light up the castle.

June works for me too, like the idea of new rides and parade :thumbsup2

June sounds good! :thumbsup2

It sounds great new rides and parades. This time we will ro on rock n roller coaster. When will tower of terror be open?

I am so excited. Sounds great. :yay:

Tower of Terror wont be open until around Halloween time 2007.

:sad2: Oh no I missed this ride last time we went to Orlando and seeing it being built I was so excited. Another thrill ride in DLP. Oh well that means I will have to go again :rotfl:

It looks like the 15-17th June. What shall we do next? Hopefully more people can come. A lot of people are away in October. :thumbsup2

Firstly I have just posted a new thread over on the DLP board to see if we can spark some more interest!!

Well I got back a quote from Eurostar and it works out about £70 per head return which is a good deal. However this was a January quote as they haven't released June 2007 yet. have emailed the nice lady again to get a more accurate figure, and when can we book it etc.

Although goodness knows how we would organise a group payment, they must have an account system for this kind of thing or worse come to worse you will all have to trust me with my Paypal account :teeth: Anyway, just letting you know I'm still on it.

BTW, would anyone like an Easyjet quote or BMI while I'm at this research lark? I could even do ferries if you really wanted me to, let me know :goodvibes

Hi Claire

Bruce is being Bruce at the moment a typical accountant LOL. He sais speed ferries who we used this year from Dover to Boulogne was £44 a return. He wants to drive down there. He said how about camping. I said driving is one thing, but camping as another. I think we will drive down. Stay in a hotel.

Our annual pass gives us 10% off accomodation I think. I will see if Bruce can call them to get a quote at Explorers hotel. We had problems getting through to reservations last time. We will try at the weekend.

I know what you mean about deposits. I dont mind sending you money via paypal or bank transfer if we need to.

Great about posting on DLP. Hope more people are interested. If not were still up for it a 100% yes from us.

This sounds great!

Any date is OK with me as it may just be me on my own.

But I can get 4 other people in the shareholders lounge :thumbsup2

You won't get a annual pass discount of the Explorers as its not owned buy Disney. But you can find some great deals on this hotel on expedia or allrez.com

Thanks for that. We would need a crew room for 6, coz we are a family of 5. Not bad for two nights. Will pass this onto dh.

The Dreamcastle rate seems very good, but as you say the crew rooms for 6 are usefull for larger familys.

Its probably a bit early to get the best deals for hotels, I think once you get to the six month in advance point things will get cheaper. (except the Dreamcastle which is about their lowest price point).
