I have pretty much decided to head to Disneyland next year. Must travel before the end of July. I was kind of looking towards March or April. May is out due to college graduation. What would be the best (avoiding Easter Week of course)?

Let's move this over to the DL forum. There's always a ton of discussion about the best time to go there. :)

That depends on what you are interested in. Do you want lower crowds? Are you planning on entertainment (F!, WOC, fireworks)? If so, which ones?

My family is planning a trip for April 2013, not the week immediately following Easter but the week after that. From what I gather, it's the end of the Spring Break season, so crowds may be up, but the park is still open 8-Midnight, shows are still running, etc. When you go later in to April, according to schedules the past few years, the park hours diminish and so do shows being offered.

I want it all. :rotfl2: Shows are important but I would say lower crowd levels are a little more important. I have only been to the California parks once and that was with Adventuree By Disney. So being a VIP was fun, but I will need the lower crowd levels to get it all done. So maybe a couple of weeks after Easter. Not too hot. I can't stand hot weather.
