Disneyland's 50th Anniversary:
2005 - Rumor - (10/1/01) This rumors come to you fresh from the Westcoaster.net website, and it’s all new to me, so I can’t back any of it up with my sources, but I felt it sounded interesting enough to include here. The skinny from Westcoaster is that for the park’s 50th Anniversary, instead of building a major new ride, they may take the time to close down and seriously rebuild and revamp 5 existing classic attractions... Space Mt, Small World, Jungle Cruise, Pirates and Haunted Mansion. This isn’t just cleaning them up and refurbishing them, this is more along the lines of a few drastic updates that could add major new effects and show scenes. As I said, I’ve heard nothing about this from my usually sources, but that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible.

California Adventure restaurants:
Park News - (9/30/01) A source wrote in to tell us that the Wolfgang Yuck, errr.. Puck restaurant in the park is rumored to be shutting down on Sunday for good. If anyone can confirm this after Sunday please do. Meanwhile, Jim Hill’s Laughingplace column reports that a bigger version of the Blast! show that was seen over the summer at Epcot may be coming to take over Hyperion Theater, retiring Steps In Time.

2004 - Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror - Rumor - (9/25/2001) The OC Register also reports that construction on a “Tower of Terror” attraction has begun at the park, however they also mention that the new ride will have a slightly different name. It should keep the Twilight Zone title but the Tower of Terror bit will most likely be changed.
