A long time ago, someone told me that they always stayed at Carousel and that I should try it. But it was always pricier than the other hotels around it, so I never got around to it. And now I'll never try it.
My fear is that with the loss of several hundred moderate rooms being eliminated, what's going to happen to the price of all the other Harbor Blvd walking distance hotels. I would expect a 5-10% increase on top of the typical rate hikes from inflation. Which will make Disney hotels seem not so much further in price, which helps them fill them up even more. All at the cost of the consumer. I wish that many years ago, I would've bought stock in Disney. They seem to be a lot smarter than me when it comes to money.
