Ahhh, it's so hard to believe this is just in a couple days! It feels like we've been planning it for ages now!

Is it just me, or does anyone else have the urge to change into pjs after midnight?

WHAT!!! You tricked me. You didn't tell me that when you asked me if we wanted breakfast rezzies for the middle of the night. You mean I'm going to Cafe Orleans with a grown woman in her PJ's? Sadly, probably still not the most embarassing thing we've managed to do on one of our trips. No wonder your hubby won't travel with us.

packed up and ready to go...just to print boarding pass tomorrow and find something to hold my ticket, CC and such that's smaller than my wallet.

I picked up the lime green mickey at Home Depot and will be attaching it to my bag which is in shades of blue and green. I'll be wearing jeans, a Nightmare Before Christmas tee and my favorite Guinness hoodie.

Hello everyone.
So whos camping out at 10pm tuesday night? i am still debating to camp out at 10pm or show up around 4am.

Four of us are traveling from Sacramento. We arrive early evening on the 28th. We're going to bring "disposable" blankets that we can use while sitting in line that night. We'll shove them in lockers in case we need them the night of the 29th too. We have a room for both nights but it doesn't sound like it will get much use.

I've seen a couple mentions of lime green Mickey heads. From the Home Depot mention I assume they're the paint chips. Do you wear them like a name badge?

We can hardly wait for the trip. Woo hoo!!

We'll be leaving Amador county around 6 am on Tuesday. We're super excited!

I don't know if I'll make the meet up, but I'll try. Carnation Plaza Gardens, 2 am!

oh noes!
since we're from abroad, we're not inclined to drink tap water... and I myself hate drinking water. I've had problems in the past with perfectly drinkable water from Florida and California. I don't know why but my body just seems to reject it
I was planning on getting a sports plastic bottle with diet coke in it. I'm on a strict diet and I can't drink normal coke or cola drinks.
The plastic bottle is opaque, you can't see what's inside unless you get the lid off. Will the security staff turn that away? will they take a sip to see if it's water or not?
I guess I'll leave the bottle at the hotel but it amuses me to think what they would do if I show up with the bottle XD

oh and a dumb question if you don't mind. I might not even consider the bottle thing if Disneyland offers refillable mugs. Do they?

Toward the bottom of the page is a list of forbidden items. Short version: no glass, no alcohol. We have never had a problem with our water bottles (plastic OR stainless steel), canned beverages or snacks.

Everyone planning to camp out - you're tough! I commend you!! We're gonna walk over around 4:30 or 5a. Hoping it's not horribly crowded. Crazy that so many people want to be there when it opens. Not hearing too much from those that want to be the last ones out.

Our plan is to get to the gates around 5 am. Any earlier would be too hard with a 5 year old, 3 year old and a 17 month old. We plan on taking a few breaks during the day because I want to be in the park when it closes at 6 am!! Plan on being at the 2 am meet, as long as my kids aren't to grumpy.
