Disneyland is a work of love: June 2010 PTR 6/2 p.61 updated itinerary

I am a huge protein person too. :thumbsup2 You stay satisfied longer and it's easier on my waist. ;) I also like string cheese and hard boiled eggs. We do a lot of lettuce wraps too; shredded seasoned chicken with whatever kind of veggies are laying around. My kids and I are big yellow, orange, and red pepper freaks. I might have to smuggle some in to the parks. Great in-line munchie.

How do you make the scrambled camping eggs? Sounds neat. Not a huge camper but DH can usually get me to go once in the summer especially if it's somewhere like Yellowstone. I love that place.

You mix 2 eggs, cooked bacon, and cheese into a freezer ziploc and boil them in water. It makes kind of an omelet.

That is the beauty of it.

A girl after my own heart. Last time we went to Yellowstone it was with the same friends we are going to Disneyland with and let me tell you, between the hubbies, we ate like queens but the clean-up was like Thankgiving after every meal. They did eggs with red potatoes and sundried tomato turkey sausage. We did chorizo and eggs with flour tortillas, beans, cheese, and salsa. :rotfl2: Grilled guyere sandwiches. I mean really, what happened to hot dogs and S'mores?

Wow, that is quite a menu.

I am not a fan of doing the dishes when we are camping. Boiling the water and all that to wash them. And is it my imagination or are camping dishes greasier than dishes are home?

They are greasier and heavier and more slippery too. :thumbsup2 I do like doing the foiled wrapped dinners. Those are good. Some meat and veggies with some salt and pepper- yummy!

Still nothing on the June park calendar regarding the WoC showtimes. They now have less than a month. :hyper:

I read that there was not going to put anything on the calendar until May 31. So, I figure that it probably was true.

No way! My guess is that Ridemax will follow suit and not be ready until the park calendar is up to speed. I am just over 4 weeks out and missing my mad itinerary making.

This whole thing seems so disorganized to me. My guess is that WoC was done before they expected it and they didn't get this side of it done on time.

So...............two minor updates. Club 33 will not be happening this trip however my friend did speak to her connection and he said that the next time he gets a table for 2 he will let her know and she and I can have it. And honestly, I am not disappointed in the slightest.

Second minor update: my waitlist has not come through at the GCV for 6/18 but she did say I will stay on the waitlist until 7 days before arrival. She said at that time I can book one of the DLR hotels using points which I would never do as the points for the DLH and PPH are criminally high plus I have already paid cash for the PPH. She also said that at 30 days from arrival I can call and see if they have a DVC member cash rate available for the villas. I would get a 25% off discount.

I found out something super cool today when I called the GCH. Vacation Planning will provide guests staying at any of the three Disney hotels, without charge, some magic. Magic comes in the the form of pins (birthday, 1st time visitor, etc), balloons, and/or an 8x10 glossy autographed photo of your favorite character. If they don't have your favorite they might give you one of the Fab 5. :thumbsup2

Isn't that great? I did that in 2007 at the DLH. My mom got the biggest kick out of the pictures.
