Everyone has smart phones nowadays. Go to Disneyland and look at what people are doing while they wait in line. They are probably on an iphone or android device, playing games or checking email. I don't think I would make another trip to Disneyland or California Adventure without one of those cool theme park apps that help you get around the park.

What Disneyland apps have you guys found and what do you like and dislike about them?

I recently found an app called Parktastiq. It's available on android for FREE and it's coming to iphone soon. It shows current ride wait times, height requirements, activity schedules, and a bunch of other stuff for both Disneyland and California adventure. It's a must have if you're going to be visiting those theme parks!

I know alot of people use mouse wait for iphone. Its free I just put it on my phone to look thur it. It has lots of info one it and a chat forum. I think I saw yesterday someone had fp for a ride did not need them so they posted where they put them for who ever wanted them.

When we were just there I used MouseWait a lot. The times seem to be really well updated--very rarely did I run into a ride where it wasn't exactly right.

We had fun playing the game Wishing Stars. Wish we would have had more time to play it, but it will save until our next trip!

*sigh* Yet another reason I need to upgrade my phone! I think I need to quit waiting for iphone to come to Verizon and just get a droid.

We use Mousewait, Walkee and GotPlans for the parks. The kids love comparing the times, looking things up, etc. These are iPhone apps.

more information on Parktastiq....I tried looking it up on android market and find nothing...is that the correct spelling?
thanks;)

Ride Hopper Lite for free on the Droid Network. Has DL, DCA and Universal.

We finally broke down and got the droid. Just got it today and I have no idea how to use it. Thankfully I have plenty of time before our Halloween time visit. I guess I need to figure out how download apps.:rotfl:

I just did a search for "disneyland" on my Droid in the Marketplace and this app was the first one to come up. Good Luck.

I'm in Canada and the only Disneyland app I can get on the android network is the ride hopper lite for free and the ride hopper full you will have to pay. I tried to get Parktastiq and nothing came up :confused3

We have a Blackberry Storm, does anyone know if there are any apps for that one?

What Android version does your phone have? Mine has only Android OS 1.5 and I cannot find this app. Some apps are only available on the newer versions of Android.

I have Ride Hopper Full. I will let everyone know how it works out after next weekend.

I hear Verizon's getting it in January (of 2011, I assume). Of course, that rumor gets a new date ever 6 months or so.

I'm stuck in Windows Mobile land with no apps that I've been able to find. Verizon even has a pay app that I'd be willing to buy but not for Windows phones. I guess that's what I get for buying their top-of-the-line phone last summer. 800x480 screen, WiFi, 3G, GPS, etc. and none of it does me any good at Disneyland. Thanks, Verizon.

Oh, well. In another year, my contract will be up and Sprint's 4G service should be available down through northern OC so I'll probably jump ship then. Get the 2nd generation of their Evo phone running Android and I'll be set.

Just downloaded mousewait... Why does it say so many rides are closed? Such as space mountain and pooh?

Gosh I don't even know! I got my Droid the day they came out last year? I don't think I have updated anything, unless it forced me too.

How is the full different than the lite verson of Ride Hopper? I download the free version and didn't know if the full was worth paying for. We too will be there next week!

It says that when the ride is down for some reason, and also when they have closed the line for the night.

There is the m.disneyland.go.com that you can go to on your browser. It's the "lite" version of the Verizon app I believe. It still has quite a bit of good info, esp about which rides still have fastpasses left. I did use that on my iPhone from time to time during our recent visit.

I ran a test one day on the top three Disneyland iPhone apps and Mouse Waits was the most accurate and most widely used, updates were constant unlike the other applications where a lot of the time rides went an hour or more without being updated with a current wait time. So Mouse Waits is the best one for the iPhone

Thanks for the suggestions, Jack! I've looked at them all at iTunes and they seem to have the same features. Why did you use all three of them? If you could just pick one, which would you choose?
